Item Mediating Role of Voice Behavior on the Relationship of Job-Embeddedness with Creativity in Software Industry(Library Information Services, COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus, 2018) Iqra Jahan; SP16-RMS-003; Dr. Muhammad Amir Rashid; LHR TP 5206This study is conducted to analyze the impact of Job Embeddedness on Creativity, with Voice behavior as a mediator and Perceived Organizational Behavior acting as Moderator between Job Embeddedness and Voice Behavior. Hypotheses were deduced from the literature and are supported by the Conservation of Resource Theory. This research is specifically carried out to investigate the creativity which is usually demanded in the software industry. Data from 313 employees working in the software industries in Pakistan was collected. The questionnaire was uploaded to the Google survey Form and individuals were contacted on their social websites account and the link was dropped in their mailbox. Demographic variables like age, gender and qualification were treated as a controlled variable, because of their possible confounds. To check the mediation and moderation effect Linear & Multiple Regression Analysis was done by the method of (Preacher & Hayes). Results show that there is a positive and significant relationship between the observed variables and all proposed hypothesis were supported. The mediation is measured by change in the R2. Moreover, interaction plot from the values attained from Preacher and Hayes moderation test was plotted to illustrate the relationship. In this study, the theoretical and implications for management has also been conferred.Item Promoting Software Engineers’ Creativity: Understanding the Role of Leadership Humility(Library Information Services, COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus, 2022) Sameen Alvi; SP20-RPM-007; Dr. Imran Shafique; LHR TP 8141Despite the immense literature on creativity, there is little known about how leaders’ humility and cohesion among employees influence their creativity. Using interactionist perspective, the study examines the relationship between leadership humility and individuals’ creativity. Perceived cohesion was also studied as a mediator between leadership humility and individuals’ creativity in addition to moderating role of trait mindfulness. Data were collected from 140 respondents from the engineers/developers working in various software houses in Pakistan that are registered with Pakistan Software Houses Association (P@SHA) by using questionnaire. To perform the analysis Partial least square based structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) has been used through WarpPLS 8.0. The results indicated that leadership humility has a significant and positive impact on individuals’ creativity. Findings confirm all the hypotheses relationships. Moreover, the study concludes with theoretical and practical implications as well as future research directions.Item Mediating Role of Voice Behavior on the Relationship of Job-Embeddedness with Creativity in Software Industry.(Library Information Services COMSATS University Islamabad Lahore Campus, 2018-01-28) IQRA JAHAN; SP16-RMS-003; Dr. Muhammad Amir Rashid; LHR TP 5206This study is conducted to analyze the impact of Job Embeddedness on Creativity, with Voice behavior as a mediator and Perceived Organizational Behavior acting as Moderator between Job Embeddedness and Voice Behavior.
