Abstract

This study is conducted to analyze the impact of Job Embeddedness on Creativity, with Voice behavior as a mediator and Perceived Organizational Behavior acting as Moderator between Job Embeddedness and Voice Behavior. Hypotheses were deduced from the literature and are supported by the Conservation of Resource Theory. This research is specifically carried out to investigate the creativity which is usually demanded in the software industry. Data from 313 employees working in the software industries in Pakistan was collected. The questionnaire was uploaded to the Google survey Form and individuals were contacted on their social websites account and the link was dropped in their mailbox. Demographic variables like age, gender and qualification were treated as a controlled variable, because of their possible confounds. To check the mediation and moderation effect Linear & Multiple Regression Analysis was done by the method of (Preacher & Hayes). Results show that there is a positive and significant relationship between the observed variables and all proposed hypothesis were supported. The mediation is measured by change in the R2. Moreover, interaction plot from the values attained from Preacher and Hayes moderation test was plotted to illustrate the relationship. In this study, the theoretical and implications for management has also been conferred.
