Lahore for a short time as an internee. The motive behind the joining of US Denim was to experience the field working style and what are the practices of workplace. I devoted six weeks internship to learn about the US Denim which is the most precious time for me and it would be very helpful in my future. I visited almost every department of US Denim during internship. US Denim was established in 2006, now this organization has set a path of working smartly. US Denim is serving to large number of world’s top brands with their demanded specification and wit complete quality assurance. The objective of this report is to express what I did observed and what are the measures that can help US Denim to capitalize its strengths to overcome its weakness and remove the threats. Al-Khidmat gave me some amount of practical experience which will be useful for my career. My internship report contains all the information about my work experience which I had done in the organization. I learned that how to manage the company work, deal with donors and provide them the required information about Al-khidmat. Now US Denim uses state-of-the-art client/server technology for its market information processes to coordinate its network of global buyers and agents around the world.Item Internship Report Ptcl(Library Information Services, COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus., 2017-11-20) ZONAIN KHAN DURRANI; FA16-BSS-002; NASEEM HABIB; LHR TP 6899PTCL got privatized in 2006, the aftermaths and consequences were seen positive and its performance were improved to a great extent but employees were not happy with the privatization of PTCL because the company had a big number of employees including useless, so they started firing employees and offered golden handshake but some accepted the offer, left the organization while other employees refused and are still working. PTCL reduced the number of employees to 15,000 only to cut off the loss of PTCL and recruit employees when needed. Meanwhile PTCL had some other competitors in the market which were the real threat to PTCL and its market share. So it started focusing on innovation as due to wireless technology, landline service was considered obsolete and hopeless communication tool. Now PTCL got to make determined effort to deal and compete with the competitors as the competition has tightened and become more tough, because of launch of 3G & 4G services and competitors are offering reasonable internet with high speed at affordable rates. To serve this purpose, questionnaire technique is used to gather the data from the people having different backgrounds, income level, gender and education level. Basic to have improved performance is to critically look upon and identify what and how to measure. Measurement therefore is referred as one of the key component that carries out an improved performance effort and lead towards better decision making, whether short-term oriented or long-term oriented. Various organizations are striving hard and doing extraordinary research to explore several components that actually add up to achievement of success or turn out to be horrible not only in their own firm but also of other organizations in the industry too.
