This is the internship report based on the seven week internship program that I completed in the Anchoring Department at 7 news HD starting from20 june2023 to 10 august 2023. Apart from the theoretical studies, stepping into the professional world was new to me but every hour spent at 7 news gave me amount of experience all the time. Anchoring at a news channel involves being the main presenter or host of a news program. Anchor delivers the news, conducts interviews, and provides analysis. It's a challenging and exciting role for me. This report includes how an anchoring department at a media channel works, what the activities performed by the department, and what is the importance of it in the organization. Also, it includes what were the tasks assigned to me during my internship. It is considered the leading department of the channel and continues working 24 hours a day. Initially, during the first 2-3 weeks, I was supposed to observe the working of professionals, As an intern in the anchoring department, you had the opportunity to observe and learn from experienced anchors how they perform their in front of camera their body gesture and movement. What’s the role of anchor, how they make questions on time when they are live, also how to play with prompter. I also observed the program recording of the morning show broadcasted from the channel and its production phase. I noticed the responsibilities of employees during the program broadcasting. And I found this process as very interesting and yet a very difficult aspect to work on. In addition to that, my internship has been a fantastic resource for teaching me about the corporate and professional world.

During my Internship at Atif Riaz Productions, I got a chance to work in Production and Editing department of the Company. Production and Editing Department at Atif Riaz Productions specializes in producing music videos, short films and other visual content like photoshoots, wedding Stories and so on and planning and post production of visual content. Throughout my internship experience in the department, I had the opportunity to gain valuable insights into the world of pre-production, planning, production and post-production contributing to various projects. This report aims to document my learnings, experiences, and the significant role that the Production and Editing Department plays in delivering exceptional visual content. Production and Editing Department at Atif Riaz Productions is a highly creative and collaborative division focused on bringing artistic visions to life through the power of visual content. With a team of talented filmmakers, photographers, cinematographers, directors, editors, and technicians, the department is dedicated to producing visually captivating and compelling content that resonates with clients’ needs.

The study makes a first-time prediction about how a learner will interact with the real world. Success is mostly dependent on experience, and those with experience are considerably better and more sought-after in their field. Students can investigate and discover ways to make a difference with the help of the study. They will be able to start new concepts and ideas as a result, which will innovate the media industry. The study explores what it was like to work as an intern at the City 42 Network. The entire process of creating news, including reporting, editing, and script writing, is covered in the study. The analysis includes the tasks being carried out in the newsroom as well as the supervision and briefs placed on each desk. Additionally, the report would make a distinction between what students learn practically and what they study theoretically in university. However, the following report consists of the brief history of the entire organization as well as the vision of the organization followed by its hieratical structure of the organization. All the departments falling upon this branch are discussed in the report. City 42 is also known for its comprehensive coverage of both national and international news. It has a track record of delivering timely and relevant information, keeping its viewers well-informed about significant events around the world. This commitment to comprehensive reporting is one of its key strengths. The quality of reporting at City 42 is another noteworthy aspect. The organization places a strong emphasis on accuracy and fact-checking, which is evident in the content it produces. This commitment to high journalistic standards is essential in building and maintaining trust with the audience.
CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY AND FINANCAIL PERFORMANCE: A STUDY OF ISO 26000 IMPLEMENTED COMPANIES

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) as a common business practices has only recently established a foothold in developing countries. This paper examines the relationship between CSR and Corporate Financial Performance (CFP) for Pakistani firms. Pakistan was chosen due to it’s one of worlds developing countries and has undergone radical economic and social change. The objective of this research to determine whether CSR based on environment, community, and employs and customer and philanthropic items have positive, negative or neutral relationship with CFP. CSR dimension of customer, community, environment and employees and philanthropic is used as independent variable while financial performance is used as dependent variable. Regression analysis used to test the relationship by using SPSS. Prior studies had produce mixed result but most research found there is positive relationship between CSR and CFP. The result of this study concludes that there is positive relationship between CFP and CSR.

This report is a detailed document of my six weeks' internship tenure that I completed in the News Department of Discover Pakistan starting from 8th July, 2024 to 15th August, 2024. The report elucidates all my learnings, experiences, and the tasks or activities assigned to me that I performed throughout the span. Moreover, this report also provides a brief overview of the organization; it's history, it's purpose, motto and vision, the structural hierarchy, the departments, the offices, competitors and pretty much everything about Discover Pakistan. Also, this report will also include SWOT analysis and recommendations for the organization. I primarily worked in the News Department, however, I regularly visited some of the other departments including Digital Department and Creative Departments for the follow up of my tasks. During the first two weeks, I mostly did script writing and field reporting. I went to different sites including Liberty Chowk, Hafeez Centre and Amanah Mall to take voxpops of the people on the topics of my report which were later posted on Social Media page of Discover Pakistan. I was also assigned the task to be a part of promo shoot for the 8th mango festival arranged by Discover Pakistan in association with Agri-Tourism Development Corporation at Lahore Organic Village. Also, wrote a blog that was published in Pakistan Today which was basically a satirical article on politics of Pakistan. The rest 4 weeks were spent in the News Studio. I was trained as News internee for News casting under the supervision of senior news anchor, Mr. Haider Awan. Spent most of the time in practicing reading News from the teleprompter and also got auditioned for news casting, which was later approved and I got a job offer later by the same organization on the basis of that. The knowledge I gained and the skills I developed during my internship tenure added much value to my practical skills. I not only polished my previously existing writing and reporting skills, but also got to discover new skills and opportunities of anchoring which has been a huge milestone for me. Overall, the experience at Discover Pakistan was one of a kind and I'm pleased to learn so much from this organization.

Discover Pakistan UHD TV the first Tourism channel was established back in 2021 under the leadership of Dr. Kaiser Rafiq. Dr. Kaiser Rafiq is the Chief Executive Officer of the channel. Discover Pakistan UHD TV is located in Lahore and they increase their reach through branches located in Islamabad and Karachi. Through different satellites, IPTV's, and digital Horizons the channels have the goal is to promote a soft image of Pakistan at the National as well as international levels. It has built its reputation in a short period. There are eight departments within the channel and each department performs different functions. The department includes the News department, Programming department, Archive department, Creative department, Digital department, Transmission department, Camera department, and NLE (Non-Linear Editors) department. During the first week, I observed the working of different scriptwriters, news producers, news anchors, and news reporters. After the first week, I started writing scripts, doing news reports, special packages, and voice-overs.

This internship report is based on six week internship program that I completed in the News department of Discover Pakistan starting from 17-07-2023 to 31-08-2023. Apart from the theoretical studies, moving into the professional world was new to me but every hour spent at Discover Pakistan gives me a good amount of experience all the time. However, they were all useful for my career and will definitely help me in my future. This report includes how a News department at a media channel works, what are the activities performed by the department and what is the importance of it in the organization. Also it includes what were the tasks assigned to me during my internship and a description of knowledge and learning I grasped during the internship program. I worked in the News department and learnt almost all the aspects of a TV program such as News Writing, Reports, Reporting, Packages and news broadcasting and anchoring. The department is responsible for the recording of various programs that goes on air. It is considered the main department of the channel and continues working 24 hours a day. Initially during the first week, I was supposed to observe How to make a News in our own words and I myself provide lot of news tickers and reports for Pakistan Today. I noticed the responsibilities of employees during the news headlines and Voce overs of different programs from pre-production to post production. I interacted with many people during and after shoots to learn in detail about different aspects of a media program. In my views, I really like the smooth management of the channel and the motto of it which aims at projecting the positive image of the country and promoting tourism industry. In addition to it, my internship has been a great source of learning for me to understand the professional world. By conducting different programs of Current Issues at that time like Interview of Ahsan Ramzan Champion of Snooker, Different SWOTs of 14 August and programs analysis of the organization, I was able to identify what are the strengths and weaknesses of the channel and what could be recommended to bring in more opportunities and decline the threats to it. The experiences of script writing, news reading and anchoring that I gained from the internship provided me great skills and would be beneficial for me to become a great media professional. The amount of knowledge and the skills that I have obtained from Discover Pakistan along with the hands on training of the skills has provided me enough experience that I have been able to achieve the objectives I wanted to from it. Although my core interest is towards anchoring and being a news presenter but I have also gained knowledge of other fields like script writing and voiceovers and with this I am blessed to share that I have been presented at TV screen of Discover Pakistan TV as a Reporter by making a package of 14th August.

This is the internship report based on six-week internship program that I completed in the News department of Discover Pakistan starting from 17-07-2023 to 31-08-2023. The professional world was unfamiliar outside of the classroom, but I gained invaluable experience at Discover Pakistan in every hour I spent there. All the same, they served me well professionally and will continue to do so in the future. Working in News allowed me to gain experience in virtually every facet of television production, including but not limited to news writing, reporting, packages, news broadcasting, and live reporting. The division's primary function is to produce broadcast-quality recordings of various shows. As the channel's primary division, it operates around the clock. In addition to the fundamentals of journalism, I am taught the ins and outs of video editing, camera operation, video lighting, news writing, ticker writing, headline writing, and reporting. I was responsible for seeing how a news story is put together and providing several news tickers and reports to Pakistan Today. During the news headlines and Voce overs of various shows, I observed several staff roles from pre- to post-production. During and after filming, I spoke with various experts who taught me about the numerous moving parts of media production. In addition, I've learned a lot about the working world thanks to my internship. Different SWOTs of 14 August and programs analysis of the organization allowed me to determine the channel's strengths and weaknesses and the steps that could be taken to increase the channel's potential for success and decrease any potential dangers it might face. The internship gave me invaluable experience in areas critical to being a successful media professional, including screenplay writing, news reading, and anchoring. In addition to the fundamentals of journalism, I am taught the ins and outs of video editing, camera operation, video lighting, news writing, ticker writing, headline writing, and reporting.

During my internship with Lahore Carpets Manufacturing Company, I had the privilege of actively contributing to our marketing efforts, assisting in various key responsibilities. Firstly, I was responsible for conducting market research to identify emerging trends and consumer preferences within the carpet industry. This involved analysing market data, competitor strategies, and customer feedback to inform our product development and marketing strategies. Additionally, I played a pivotal role in managing our social media presence, creating engaging content, and implementing targeted advertising campaigns to enhance our online visibility and reach a wider audience. Furthermore, I had the opportunity to collaborate with our sales team to develop and implement effective sales strategies, helping us expand our customer base and increase revenue. I also assisted in organizing promotional events and trade shows, where I was responsible for coordinating logistics and ensuring our brand was represented effectively. Overall, my internship at Lahore Carpets Manufacturing Company provided me with valuable hands-on experience in marketing, helping me develop essential skills in market analysis, content creation, and customer engagement, all of which have been instrumental in contributing to the company's growth and success.

As they are a new agency, they are still working on organization structure. But they main departments of agency are HR, Digital Marketing, & Graphic Design. I was part of this organization for 6 weeks as an internee. It was quite an amazing and informative time for me, as it was my first time working in an organization. I learned a lot, like tools of graphic design, post design, research, business proposal, event Calander, last but not the least post proposal. This report has been completed in accordance with the requirements defined in the final semester syllabus of the Bachelor of Media & Communication Studio. This report covers my internship opportunity where I applied theoretical information learned in the classroom to professional practices during a 6-week internship period. The objective of this Report is to present an overview of Digital marketing, and how it's done in the real time to promote the brands on a larger scales as well as an exploration of the in-house applications, content strategies and marketing tactics used by Frame Hype LLP. There are multiple sections. The initial section of the report provides comprehensive information regarding the organization itself, its hierarchy and all of the key analyzed aspects, encompassing its specific objectives and inherent limits. The subsequent section encompasses an outline of the Digital Marketing aspects and the learnings that i obtained during my internship programme, The report also includes information regarding the theoretical understanding of fundamental concepts utilized in Digital Marketing by media houses, Also a comprehensive list of day to day tasks assigned and completed throughout the internship program duration. By engaging with this report, one can acquire practical understanding of Digital Marketing and its necessary elements. The lessons learned throughout the internship time have been thoroughly analyzed, and a set of recommendations has been described in the end of the report that studies the organization through a deep SWOT analysis.

The executive summary consists of a concise information of all of my activities and The organizational structure of the agency I completed my internship in, it tells about the sector, the work ethics and my job their as an internee. During my 6- weeks Internship at future vision advertising located at 82-B Garden block Garden town lahore I got the chance to explore the creative department completely and learn how the work goes on behind the making of any advertisements. Which is also the production house named MMN productions lead by Mr.Malik Azhar who is also a managing director of Special Tv .Mmn films has worked with various brands and companies of Pakistan we often see the advertisements for on our television. The brands are listed below • Faiza beauty cream • Green international university • Tara Rice seed • Sun crop group • Noor gold urgent facial • Black rose hair colour • Metro shoes • Al khidmat foundation Besides the local companies Mmn films has also produced advertisements for various reputable political organizations which includes jammat e Islami and the current Government of Pakistan. In the first few days I was asked to shadow the employees ,I worked with copy writers, marketing strategists and designers on various projects to enhance my writing skills, learned idea generation and how to present an idea to the client, I was working with real time government organizations such as WAPDA, and Cm Punjab solar program as well as generated ideas for a campaign of cakes and bakes. Where I had to brainstorm ideas with other content writers and devise an idea that would suit the brand and will be impactful for their target audience. At first I was told to see the work and observe how the agency operates, I was initially sent to the news department where I had to observe a senior anchor Ms Saniya Bukhari, so, I stayed there and learned how the news department work. I also got to learn a handful of insights from the news channel which they are running along with the Agency the name of the channel is Special TV where I spent the first two weeks of my internship and learned about news rooms, camera handling in the news room and what goes on in the control panel room, how to welcome a guest, coming up with a script at the present moment and ready to take any action required immediately if something goes wrong I was assigned to create tickers for news and also record the voice overs for it. And worked with the editors and learned editing on adobe premiere, as well as posting the content on social media handles. Future vision advertising is a vast agency with having an in house production As well as a news channel that makes it stands out as one of the most credible and long standing agencies of Lahore.

I have completed my 6 weeks’ internship at hum news. I wrote the swot analysis of the company, reflective journal, training program and acknowledgement. I have learned and experience reporting, NLE and assignment of the news report. Interlink Advertising, established in 2008, is a leading advertising agency with a strong presence in Pakistan. Headquartered in Lahore, the agency operates branches in Islamabad and Peshawar. Their commitment to innovative advertising solutions and strategic thinking has contributed to their success in the industry. During my time at the agency, I gained valuable insights into the advertising industry and honed my skills in various areas, including creative development, marketing, and graphic designing. My internship involved working closely with the creative department, where I was responsible for developing original concepts and content further, I have got to learn a lot from this internship including digital marketing, audio and video production and During my internship at Interlink Advertising, I used what I learned to work on real advertising projects. The agency is known for being creative, consistent, and focused on making clients happy. They are a big player in advertising because they can change to fit what people like and get different parts of the company to work together to create good ads.
