CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY AND FINANCAIL PERFORMANCE: A STUDY OF ISO 26000 IMPLEMENTED COMPANIES

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) as a common business practices has only recently established a foothold in developing countries. This paper examines the relationship between CSR and Corporate Financial Performance (CFP) for Pakistani firms. Pakistan was chosen due to it’s one of worlds developing countries and has undergone radical economic and social change. The objective of this research to determine whether CSR based on environment, community, and employs and customer and philanthropic items have positive, negative or neutral relationship with CFP. CSR dimension of customer, community, environment and employees and philanthropic is used as independent variable while financial performance is used as dependent variable. Regression analysis used to test the relationship by using SPSS. Prior studies had produce mixed result but most research found there is positive relationship between CSR and CFP. The result of this study concludes that there is positive relationship between CFP and CSR.

This report is about my internship journey & my experiences within the agency. Exaalt Solution is a new born agency in the digital market. Their goal is to become a global organization which provide clients with innovative, creative and effective ideas. They have many competitors as it’s a digital marketing agency. As they are a new agency, they are still working on organization structure. But they main departments of agency are HR, Digital Marketing, & Graphic Design. I was part of this organization for 6 weeks as an internee. It was quite an amazing and informative time for me, as it was my first time working in an organization. I learned a lot, like tools of graphic design, post design, research, business proposal, event Calander, last but not the least post proposal. This report has been completed in accordance with the requirements defined in the final semester syllabus of the Bachelor of Media & Communication Studio. This report covers my internship opportunity where I applied theoretical information learned in the classroom to professional practices during a 6-week internship period. The objective of this Report is to present an overview of Digital marketing, and how it's done in the real time to promote the brands on a larger scales as well as an exploration of the in-house applications, content strategies and marketing tactics used by Frame Hype LLP. There are multiple sections. The initial section of the report provides comprehensive information regarding the organization itself, its hierarchy and all of the key analyzed aspects, encompassing its specific objectives and inherent limits. The subsequent section encompasses an outline of the Digital Marketing aspects and the learnings that i obtained during my internship programme, The report also includes information regarding the theoretical understanding of fundamental concepts utilized in Digital Marketing by media houses, Also a comprehensive list of day to day tasks assigned and completed throughout the internship program duration. By engaging with this report, one can acquire practical understanding of Digital Marketing and its necessary elements. The lessons learned throughout the internship time have been thoroughly analyzed, and a set of recommendations has been described in the end of the report that studies the organization through a deep SWOT analysis.

I write the summary of the report on the bases of internship and the activities, tasks and projects that I completed during my six-week internship. Interlink is a complete -service advertising agency that deals with brand building through personalized 360-degree communication solutions. I worked in all departments of agency to gain experience more and had to know how all department works and connection between them in agency. My future goal is advertising I want to work in advertising agency in future. It was necessary to work in advertising agency to gain experience about advertising. As an intern at Interlink Advertising Agency, I had the opportunity to be involved in a wide range of tasks and projects. From conducting market research to brainstorming creative ideas, my time at the agency was filled with valuable learning experiences. Firstly, I worked in the creative department to improve my writing skill. After that I worked in customer service I learned how this department to make connection between clients and agency. I worked in media department to know role media department in agency and then in the art department to learn skills like Photoshop, illustrator and content design. I worked in the digital department to learn the role of platforms like Facebook and Instagram in advertising agency. I worked in the production department to learn all types of production in advertising agency. I worked on a variety of projects, including coming up with slogans for SNGPL, FESCO, and the 14th August campaign. I was able to acquire all the skills I would need to pursue a career in advertising. In order to understand target audiences better, I worked on compiling data and examining consumer trends. We were able to create successful marketing strategies that connected with the target markets of our clients by having a thorough understanding of consumer preferences, behaviors, and needs. I also got the opportunity to help with the analysis of competitors. This required researching the methods and approaches that the rival businesses of our clients employed to spot openings and obtain an advantage over them. We created unique selling propositions that differentiate our clients in the market by examining the advantages and disadvantages of our clients' rivals. My internship also included some exciting brainstorming sessions. I got to work with the creative team to come up with creative concepts for marketing campaigns. We discussed various strategies to engage the target audience and bounced ideas off each other during these lively and creative sessions. Seeing how a straightforward concept could develop into a potent marketing strategy was incredibly motivating. My other task involved creating content for social media platforms. This required creating interesting and captivating content that spoke to the target audiences and complemented the brand identities of our clients. I discovered the value of visual communication and storytelling in grabbing social media users' attention, from creating captivating captions to creating eye-catching graphics. I helped the team with report and presentation preparation in addition to these duties. This required gathering information, arranging it, and designing eye-catching slides so that clients and stakeholders could understand our plans and outcomes. It was a fantastic chance for me to improve my presentation abilities and discover how to communicate ideas succinctly. Another enjoyable aspect of my internship was going to client meetings. I got to see how the agency dealt with clients, learn about their goals and needs, and participate in conversations. Observing how the agency developed trusting relationships with clients and collaborated to meet their marketing objectives was a valuable experience. Overall, I had a variety of responsibilities and growth opportunities during my time at Interlink Advertising Agency. I acquired useful abilities in content creation, creative thinking, market research, and client communication. It was an enriching experience that deepened my understanding of the advertising industry and prepared me for future endeavors in the field.

RB Tech & Games is a computer hardware retail store that specializes in selling high-end computer hardware used for gaming and video rendering. In addition to its physical retail store, RB Tech & Games also has a website where customers can purchase their products online. As an intern for their social media marketing, I had an opportunity to gain valuable experience in marketing for their online Presence as well as their website. The Primary page of the company is on Facebook, and by extension, on Instagram. My task was to boost sales through social media marketing. This involved extensive graphics design work on apps like Canva, Photoshop, and Illustrator, as well as creating short-form content such as TikTok and Instagram reels. Not only that but during my internship, I was also responsible for tasks such as SEO-based content writing for the company’s website. My main goal was to work closely with the sales team of the company to understand what their message was, and how I could best portray that message through my efforts. This report includes everything I did during my time there, as well as all the things that I learned and understood simply by being out in the field. I’ve also included a reflective journal that demonstrates the day-to-day tasks I was given, and how I believed those tasks helped carve my abilities as a marketer. I’ve discussed my training program thoroughly in this report, and I believe it will be up to the mark when it comes to understanding what the fundamental scope of my internship was. Last but not least, I included some of my work which I had done during this internship, to give you a better idea of how my tasks contributed to the company. It is worth noting that I included a SWOT analysis right at the end of my report to give you a deeper insight on what I believe are some of the downsides, and upsides of the company followed up with a few recommendations for the company’s betterment in the long run. I believe RB Tech and Games has the potential to become one of the leading retailers in the nation, all it needs at the moment is some nurturing and planning for the long run. In the conclusion of the report, I’ve mentioned how far the company has to go still, to become one of the leading brands in the nation, however, at the moment, without a shadow of a doubt, the company has come a long way. I remember being a client of theirs not to long ago, and my journey from a client, to a team member has been nothing short of welcoming and fun. The way they handle people, the way they deal, and the way they carry themselves as the pioneers of the industry has truly made me see the market of Pakistan in a different light. Hum News is a reliable provider of information with a crew of experienced reporters and cutting-edge technologies, and it works hard to uphold journalistic ethics. Hum News makes its readers aware and interested in everything from politics to societal concerns. it provides round-the-clock coverage of the news that keeps you informed on the most recent worldwide, regional, and local events. This executive summary encompasses my enriching six-week internship experience as a Video Editor at The Think Crew. Throughout this period, I had the opportunity to immerse myself in various aspects of video editing, contributing to several projects and gaining valuable insights into the professional world of media production. My primary responsibilities included editing raw footage, refining content, and collaborating with the team to deliver high-quality video productions. I engaged with industry-standard editing software, honing my technical skills and adapting to the fast-paced, dynamic nature of the field. Additionally, I learned about different styles of storytelling, integrating creative elements to enhance the visual narrative. Working alongside seasoned professionals provided a platform to absorb knowledge and apply theoretical concepts in a practical setting. I learned the significance of effective communication and teamwork in meeting project deadlines while maintaining the creative integrity of the content. Moreover, the internship allowed me to expand my understanding of the industry's trends and best practices. Through feedback and guidance from mentors, I enhanced my ability to craft compelling visual stories, paying meticulous attention to detail, pacing, and overall visual aesthetics. This internship report is based on six week internship program that I completed in the News department of Discover Pakistan starting from 17-07-2023 to 31-08-2023. Apart from the theoretical studies, moving into the professional world was new to me but every hour spent at Discover Pakistan gives me a good amount of experience all the time. However, they were all useful for my career and will definitely help me in my future. This report includes how a News department at a media channel works, what are the activities performed by the department and what is the importance of it in the organization. Also it includes what were the tasks assigned to me during my internship and a description of knowledge and learning I grasped during the internship program. I worked in the News department and learnt almost all the aspects of a TV program such as News Writing, Reports, Reporting, Packages and news broadcasting and anchoring. The department is responsible for the recording of various programs that goes on air. It is considered the main department of the channel and continues working 24 hours a day. Initially during the first week, I was supposed to observe How to make a News in our own words and I myself provide lot of news tickers and reports for Pakistan Today. I noticed the responsibilities of employees during the news headlines and Voce overs of different programs from pre-production to post production. I interacted with many people during and after shoots to learn in detail about different aspects of a media program. In my views, I really like the smooth management of the channel and the motto of it which aims at projecting the positive image of the country and promoting tourism industry. In addition to it, my internship has been a great source of learning for me to understand the professional world. By conducting different programs of Current Issues at that time like Interview of Ahsan Ramzan Champion of Snooker, Different SWOTs of 14 August and programs analysis of the organization, I was able to identify what are the strengths and weaknesses of the channel and what could be recommended to bring in more opportunities and decline the threats to it. The experiences of script writing, news reading and anchoring that I gained from the internship provided me great skills and would be beneficial for me to become a great media professional. The amount of knowledge and the skills that I have obtained from Discover Pakistan along with the hands on training of the skills has provided me enough experience that I have been able to achieve the objectives I wanted to from it. Although my core interest is towards anchoring and being a news presenter but I have also gained knowledge of other fields like script writing and voiceovers and with this I am blessed to share that I have been presented at TV screen of Discover Pakistan TV as a Reporter by making a package of 14th August.

This is the internship report based on six-week internship program that I completed in the News department of Discover Pakistan starting from 17-07-2023 to 31-08-2023. The professional world was unfamiliar outside of the classroom, but I gained invaluable experience at Discover Pakistan in every hour I spent there. All the same, they served me well professionally and will continue to do so in the future. Working in News allowed me to gain experience in virtually every facet of television production, including but not limited to news writing, reporting, packages, news broadcasting, and live reporting. The division's primary function is to produce broadcast-quality recordings of various shows. As the channel's primary division, it operates around the clock. In addition to the fundamentals of journalism, I am taught the ins and outs of video editing, camera operation, video lighting, news writing, ticker writing, headline writing, and reporting. I was responsible for seeing how a news story is put together and providing several news tickers and reports to Pakistan Today. During the news headlines and Voce overs of various shows, I observed several staff roles from pre- to post-production. During and after filming, I spoke with various experts who taught me about the numerous moving parts of media production. In addition, I've learned a lot about the working world thanks to my internship. Different SWOTs of 14 August and programs analysis of the organization allowed me to determine the channel's strengths and weaknesses and the steps that could be taken to increase the channel's potential for success and decrease any potential dangers it might face. The internship gave me invaluable experience in areas critical to being a successful media professional, including screenplay writing, news reading, and anchoring. In addition to the fundamentals of journalism, I am taught the ins and outs of video editing, camera operation, video lighting, news writing, ticker writing, headline writing, and reporting.

This is the internship report based on the seven week internship program that I completed in the Anchoring Department at 7 news HD starting from20 june2023 to 10 august 2023. Apart from the theoretical studies, stepping into the professional world was new to me but every hour spent at 7 news gave me amount of experience all the time. Anchoring at a news channel involves being the main presenter or host of a news program. Anchor delivers the news, conducts interviews, and provides analysis. It's a challenging and exciting role for me. This report includes how an anchoring department at a media channel works, what the activities performed by the department, and what is the importance of it in the organization. Also, it includes what were the tasks assigned to me during my internship. It is considered the leading department of the channel and continues working 24 hours a day. Initially, during the first 2-3 weeks, I was supposed to observe the working of professionals, As an intern in the anchoring department, you had the opportunity to observe and learn from experienced anchors how they perform their in front of camera their body gesture and movement. What’s the role of anchor, how they make questions on time when they are live, also how to play with prompter. I also observed the program recording of the morning show broadcasted from the channel and its production phase. I noticed the responsibilities of employees during the program broadcasting. And I found this process as very interesting and yet a very difficult aspect to work on. In addition to that, my internship has been a fantastic resource for teaching me about the corporate and professional world.

This report provides an overview of my six-week internship at Marshmallow advertising agency Lahore, a full-service advertising agency that collaborates with brands worldwide. During my internship, I worked in various departments to gain practical experience and understand their significance and interconnection. As I aspire to pursue a career in social media, I worked in the Social Media Management department to improve my writing skills and in the Art department to learn design skills using Photoshop. I also worked in the Digital department to learn about strategies for platforms like Facebook and Instagram, while the Client Service department taught me about their crucial role in advertising agencies. Additionally, I learned editing skills in the Production department and important industry terms in the Media department. I worked on various tasks, including creating an annual calendar for Master Bus Service, conducting research for documentaries and campaigns, and designing posts to persuade a new client, Nisa Beauty. This internship provided me with valuable skill sets and insights into how advertising agencies operate, helping me pursue my passion for social media as a future career.
