(Library Information Services, COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus, 2024) Abdul Basit Malik; SP22-RPM-001; Dr. Zafar uz Zaman Anjum,; LHR TP 9415
The purpose of this study is to discover what project manager competencies are the most crucial in the connection between project planning and the project success. With the objectives of achieving the goal a quantitative research method was used. Data collection was done by interviewing 200 informants of the software industry in Lahore within a questionnaire with close-ended questions. The questionnaire design comprises the scope of project planning, the qualities of a project manager and finally, the level of project success. Next, SPSS was used to move the data to the analysis phase where the hypothesized relationship was tested for. The results indicate project planning enhances project success and positive change considerably. The study, with a serial moderation, empirically finds that the project manager’s abilities affect the positive relationship between planning and project success when they are serially mediated. To begin with, these investigations have vast implications. To be specific, this study aims to fill up the existing theory gaps with the rich empirical data necessary to explain for the mediating mechanisms of the relationship between project planning and project success. This will largely help us in thinking about how effective project planning experience acts as an antecedent of project success while manager's competencies work as a moderator. Firstly, the organizations can utilize this information for their purpose when they develop plans that engage and coordinate employees towards attaining the project goal

(Library Information Services, COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus, 2024) Wadood Malika; CIIT/SP22-RBA-015/LHR; Dr. Ahmad Qammar; LHR TP 9450
Remote working is a new trend accelerated by Covid-19 pandemic that blurred the personal and professional spheres. Working from home is challenging task, as minor disruptions within home environment happen due to family incivility. Based on the foundation of Job Demand-Resource (JD-R) theory, this study aims to investigate the relationship between family incivility, psychological well-being, and remote work engagement, with the moderating effect of supervisory support in remote work setting in Pakistan. This research uses quantitative research method. The data were collected from 251 employees working remotely from Pakistan. The participants were sent an online survey form created on Google Forms. Convenience sampling was employed in this research. The data were analyzed by using WarpPLS 8.0. The results of the study indicate that family incivility has a negative relationship with remote work engagement and also psychological well-being is negatively related to the family incivility. In addition to this, it is indicated that psychological well-being completely mediates the relationship between family incivility and remote work engagement. The findings of the research also suggest that supervisory support does not moderate relationship between psychological well-being and remote work engagement. This study offers useful insights for both managers and the current body of literature on human resource management. The study suggests that managers should acknowledge the significance of family incivility in remote work setting as it lowers psychological well-being that ultimately reduces remote work engagement. They should consider implementing flexible working hours and arrangements, training opportunities, and company policies that support in family-related issues in order to improve organizational effectiveness and work engagement.

(Library Information Services COMSATS University Islamabad Lahore Campus, 2023-02-09) Tabraiz Khalid; SP22-RMS-001; Dr. Ammar Abid; LHR TP 8765
The study investigates the impact of CEO Duality, CG (corporate governance) and RG (risk governance) mechanisms on the systemic risk along with investigating the moderating role of CG and RG on the relationship between CEO power and systemic risk by using a sample of 88 large listed commercial banks from 11 Asian countries namely Pakistan, China, India, Bangladesh, Bahrain, Jordan, Philippines, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Thailand and UAE. The study utilizes OLS (ordinary least square), random effect and fixed effect models and evidences the negative influence of CEO Power, CG and RG mechanisms on the systemic risk, only a few positively influencing the systemic risk such as CRO Presence and RMC (Risk management Committee) meetings. The findings show that a few CG and RG mechanisms significantly moderate the relationship between CEO power and systemic risk such as board size, RMC meetings, CRO (chief risk officer) presence. The influence of CEO power, CG and RG mechanisms is also investigated using the GMM approach to tackle endogeneity issues. The results of OLS, random effect, fixed effect are consistent with the GMM. Moreover, the moderation results of CG and RG mechanisms on the relationship between CEO power and systemic risk are also improved. CG mechanisms board size, board independence and board meetings significantly moderate the relationship between CEO power and systemic risk. RG mechanisms RMC presence, RMC size, CRO presence and CRO independence also significantly moderate the relationship between CEO power and systemic risk.

This project report attempts to perform a careful analysis of how the cultural nuances and dimensions can affect the way modern consumers are interacting and behaving in the digital atmosphere, and how it can relate to their buying choices and preferences. The in-depth study of these factors enables us to comprehend how these cultural factors influence consumer behaviors and digital decision-making. It also sheds light on the pivotal role that effective Integrated Marketing Communication can play and the way it seamlessly integrates with the Hofstede’s Cultural Dimensions providing the businesses a comprehensive strategy for adaptable digital engagement. Towards the end of the project report, we present viable recommendations emphasizing the importance of cultural nuances and quirks when targeting localization and how it can help reach their target audience more effectively and to establish genuine connections with them that are long-lasting and profitable.

Effects Of Institutional Pressures On The Intentions To Continue Green Supply Chain Management Practices
(Library Information Services COMSATS University Islamabad Lahore Campus, 2023-02-09) Adeel Masih; SP22-RBA-007; Mr. Nayyar Perviaz Butt; LHR TP 8746
In pursuit of environmental and economic objectives, organizations are increasingly adopting green practices within and beyond their operational boundaries. This research investigates whether Green Supply Chain Management (GSCM) practices face similar or distinct challenges concerning regulations, market dynamics, and competition when applied internally versus externally. Leveraging Institutional Theory to identify various pressures and Resource Dependency Theory to scrutinize the impact of internal and external GSCM practices, this study relies on a survey of manufacturing executives in Pakistan. Employing a structured questionnaire, the study does not present original data but synthesizes insights from existing literature. The research reveals that normative pressures influence both internal and external GSCM practices, while coercive and mimetic pressures positively affect both. Additionally, internal GSCM processes exhibit a more significant impact on environmental performance compared to external GSCM activities, proving more effective in enhancing environmental outcomes. External GSCM practices are found to notably enhance employees' work performance and positively impact overall organizational performance. This research contributes theoretical and practical insights, offering valuable knowledge for academics, policymakers, and industry professionals alike.
