    By the end of my internship program I was able to generate UPS labels, learn about WEBOC (Web based one customs) clearance system to keep track of your shipments going through the customs process, Profoma invoice, Commercial invoice, Packing list, the concept of under-invoicing to reduce custom expenses, various negotiation tactics used by the Import and Export personnel to get the shipping companies (GLS and Damco) to charge as low as possible and types of shipment LCL (Low container load) and FCL (Full container load). In Research and development department, I was able to learn various procedures and vendor evaluation stages, Quality checking, MOQ (minimum order quantity), attempt to get free samples and using Vernier scale to get accurate measurements. In the marketing and sales department, I got to learn company’s various marketing strategies such as Billboard ads and how they are strategically placed across the city, Expo centers, Joint Strategic business unit’s (SBU) Master Tiles and Master Sanitary offices and the proper utilization of social media as a marketing tool. I also got an insight of how the company differentiates itself from the market to grasp the maximum number of customers by using strategies such as Intensive distribution strategy, Cost leadership, Contracts with marriages hall and restaurants for future renovations and home delivery installation. During my interaction with the sales staff, I came to know of the target pricing strategy adopted by them. Moreover, Mr. Tariq HR assistant manager provided me the opportunity to observe the interviews being conducted for vacant positions which allowed me to learn the etiquettes of an interview and what the interviewer demands from the candidate. This internship program has allowed me to look at things from a professional perspective and provide solutions according to the formal framework. My report is divided into the following sections Organizational structure, Business process analysis, SWOT Analysis, Learning as an Intern, Impot Export department, Research and development department, Marketing and sales strategy, New knowledge acquired and Problems encountered.

    EFFECT OF PARTNERSHIPS AND JOINT VENTURES ON SMALL AND MEDIUM SIZED ENTERPRISES IN PAKISTAN

    Pakistan, like most other developing nations, is currently at an inflection point wherein it has to choose which kinds of economic institutions it shall be going forward with in order to develop its economy from the grassroots up. Simultaneously, it also has to contend with various risks adverse multinational corporations which do not wish to enter the country’s market entirely on their own as a result of uncertainty concerning the kinds of responses that they would be able to garner for themselves. In light of this, businesses in the country often organize as partnerships, or enter into partnership agreements or enter into joint venture agreements with multinational corporations as the case may be, in order to fully capitalize on the growing opportunities that are emerging in the nation, with a steady growth in the middle class, a general rise in incomes and levels of consumption, etc. This paper shall specifically address the rise of the partnership, and of joint ventures within the Pakistani economy, in order to get a clearer picture of the beneficial role that they have played in the economy (Gulzar, 2018).

    EFFECT OF CURRENT CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC ON BUSINESS

    “COVID-19 is an infectious disease and is caused by a newly discovered coronavirus”. Most of the people experience low to moderate respiratory illness who are infected by the Covid-19 infection. The majority of the people does not require special treatment to treat this infection. The covid-19 infection spreads though the cough or sneeze of the infected person. As the droplets of saliva of the infected person remains in the air and noninfected person can get these droplets which contain COVID-19 infection and got infected. The best way to stop this infection is to wear mask and adopt the social distancing method.

    Workforce Diversity and Discrimination

    Diversity can generally be defined as recognizing, understanding and accepting individual differences regardless of their race, gender, age, class, ethnicity, ability, and race. Sexual orientation, spiritual practice, and so on. The researchers also supports this view by adding that every individual is exclusive but also share any number of environmental or biological characteristics. Diversity may be classified into two dimensions. the first dimension like age, gender, sexual orientation, and so on, exhibits the most differences between various individuals. These primary differences even have the foremost impact on initial encounters and might be easily noticed and function filters through which individuals view the planet.

    UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS PERCEPTION OF TEACHER POWER USE

    The basic aim and key objective of this research is to properly assess the undergraduate scholars’ perspective of display of power by instructors which can be furthermore classified into five type’s (1.)Coercive power display (2.) Showing legitimate power (3.)Referent power display (4.)Showing reward power and (5.)Exhibiting expertise power. It was additionally meant to examine that whether or not undergraduates perspective vary substantially in terms of Gender. To this point, we first performed a study just to make a check on the two factors (Validity, Reliability of the “Teacher Power Use Scale”. The following study of reliability plus validity of the scale was performed by gathering data from a figure of 59 Undergraduates. For the sake of validity purposes, exploratory factor test were carried, reliability ratings and item total correlations were also used.
