    MASTER TEXTILE MILLS LIMITE (MTML) LAHORE

    This report is a brief summary of my 6-week internship at Master Textile Mills. My internship began in the Marketing Department (Garment Division). Where I learned about how new order sampling is done and how to prepare samples from the sampling department. Beginning in the marketing department, I learned about sample manufacturing details. During my 6-week internship at Master Textile Mills Limited, I worked in the merchandise marketing dept/Garments Division M6. The internship was primarily focused on management and product knowledge training. The system, working style, working conditions, organizational culture, rules and regulations, policies, work processes and employee commitment, employee training programs, employee safety and health assurance, salaries. The Merchant collaborates with the CAD-CAM Department to obtain the garment's pattern. If necessary, the pattern is modified based on the customer's specific requirements and shared back with the CAD-CAM Department for finalization. Subsequently, the pattern is used to cut the garment pieces, which are then passed on to the stitching line for assembly. Throughout the stitching process, garments undergo rigorous quality inspections, including in-line and final inspections, to ensure adherence to the highest standards. Upon completion of the stitching phase, garments proceed to the washing stage. For PFGD (Prepare for Garment Dye) fabrics or non-denim materials, a dyeing process follows. Denim fabrics, on the other hand, undergo washing directly. Once washed and dried, the garments enter the Refinishing and Finishing stages, culminating in the final Audit. The final step involves preparing a Gate Pass and dispatching the garments via DHL services. The initiation of work across all departments at Master Textile Mills Ltd. (MTML) is triggered by the receipt of a purchase order (PO) from the customer in the merchandising department M6. The PO is then forwarded to the PPC department for further processing. Upon confirmation of the PO, the cutting department receives instructions from the induction department and commences production. Other departments collaborate closely with the production units to ensure seamless execution of the manufacturing process.

    The business operations and overall working of Chenab Particle Board (Pvt) Ltd, a private company based in Pakistan, are examined in this internship report. The organization's structure, methods of operation, production procedures, organizational history, and a variety of analyses are the main components of this report. The report begins with informative corporate introduction that summarizes the company's history and includes the company's inspiring mission statement, and vision statement to the readers. The organizational hierarchy is then presented in depth, providing a thorough rundown of all the departments and their functions. In the later part of the report, company's creative marketing tactics and HR procedures are examined. The procedures happening in the company. The making of MDF sheet, the selection of wood and the processes which are used to make the MDF sheet durable are also included and how the sales are achieved what strategies the company is using to capture the market. The report content then dives deeper into an extensive SWOT analysis, the strength of the organization and how they can turn their weakness into strengths internal analyses, and macro- and micro-level investigations. Price comparison providing a detailed knowledge of the company's efficiency within its market landscape. We hope to learn how the firm positions itself in terms of perceived value and efficiency by delving into the complexities of product pricing strategies. This requires doing a detailed market positioning research, determining if the organization positions itself as a premium, mid-range, or low-cost provider. At the end, my internship experience is shared in the form of duties and responsibilities I had during internship, problems encountered during the internship duration and how I solved those problem with the help of my supervisor and about the new knowledge acquired, accomplishments

    Throughout my internship at Uworx, I gained insight into the company's culture, which helped me comprehend the overall objectives of the company and goals. Gaining a thorough understanding of the organization's fundamental principles and strategic goals became dependent upon this immersion. My development both personally and professionally was greatly impacted by this. Completing an extensive SWOT analysis of Uworx was one of the key parts of my internship there. Uworx’s internal strengths and weaknesses were extensively reviewed and compared with market and industry opportunities and challenges as part of this strategic study. It was a life-changing experience that gave me the analytical abilities necessary for any business setting in addition to assisting me in comprehending the organization's complexities. I was able to identify and evaluate Uworx's competitive advantages using SWOT analysis, as well as areas in need of development. This analysis served to provide a compass for making strategic decisions in the company for subsequent initiatives and improvements. In addition, this hands-on experience in strategic analysis was highly instrumental to my professional growth. It enabled me to merge the theoretical knowledge from the academic studies with practical application, closing the gap between the classroom learning and the real business dynamics. Exposing to such type of strategic thinking and decision-making processes was priceless as it helped to gain the holistic approach to business challenges and opportunities. My internship at Uworx extended my skills in addition to analytical skills, and I am confident to say that I gained a glimpse of the business world. I was able to participate in the day-to-day running of the organization and see how the organization carried out strategic initiatives; and thus, I gained an understanding of the complexities involved in the running of the successful organization. I gained theoretical knowledge and practical skills that will be useful to me in my professional path through this hands-on experience. Looking back, Uworx has been a highly beneficial experience for me. The supportive and collaborative environment, and the meaningful work I was given to do in return for my academic pursuits validated me and I felt that I was confident and capable in my work. My internship at Uworx has been a vital part of my development as a professional, equipping me with essential skills and knowledge to negotiate the ever changing terrain of the corporate world. Encourages development of skills in employees, innovation, and promotes a culture of excellence.
