Item Personal Growth Initiative, Resilience and Psychological Wellbeing in Young Adults(Library Information Services, COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus, 2024) Areej Asif; SP20-BPY-023; Ms. Huma Yaseen; LHR TP 8893The present study determined the link between personal growth initiative, resilience and psychological wellbeing in young adults. A convenient sampling method used to collect data for this quantitative study from 300 participants age ranging from 19 to 30 years (M =21.65, SD =2.35). Demographic Questionnaire, Personal Growth Initiative Scale II, Resilience Assessment Questionnaire (RAQ 8) and Ryff Psychological Wellbeing Scale (PWB 18) were used. The correlation analysis demonstrated that personal growth initiative and resilience positively and significantly correlated with psychological wellbeing. Hierarchical regression analysis showed personal growth initiative and resilience positively predicted psychological wellbeing. All blocks are showed to be significant. Independent sample t-test showed no significant differences between male and female students for personal growth initiative and resilience. Therefore, difference of moderate practical significance was shown for psychological wellbeing between male and female students. These findings have important implications for clinical practice, education, research, policy-making and public health.
