Item Impact of System Openness on Developing Green Products: Mediating Effect of Green Innovation Climate(Library Information Services, COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus, 2023) Lieba Iqbal; FA18-RMS-018; Prof Dr. Muhammad Amir RashidThe results of this study revealed that system openness is associated with green product development (GPD) through the mediation of green innovation climate. The analysis of the study suggests that system openness plays a decisive role in driving green product development in the electronic industry in Pakistan. Research results depict that companies with high level of system openness are more likely to engage in GPD when combined with green innovation climate GIC. The study collected data through self administered questionnaires and analysed it through SPSS using PROCESS macro. This research concluded that system openness is an important driver of green product development, and this relationship is partially mediated by a supportive green innovation climate around sustainability. Companies that are willing to collaborate and engage with external stakeholders while fostering a culture are more likely to develop environmentally sustainable products that meet the needs of consumers and the broader societYItem Does Fintech Availability Moderate the Relationship Between Perceived Financial Risk and Online Purchase? An Experimental Support.(Library Information Services COMSATS University Islamaabad Lahore Campus, 2020) Muhammad Tayyab Amin; FA18-RMS-003; Dr. Muhammad Amir Rashid; LHR TP 6055This present study aimed to study the mediating role of online purchase intention, moderating role of Fintech availability on the relationship between perceived financial risk and online purchase. Firstly, it was hypothesized that there will be a significant relationship between perceived financial risk and online potential buyer Purchase Intention. Secondly, it was also hypothesized that there will be a significant relationship between perceived financial risk & online purchase behavior. Thirdly, it was hypothesized that there will be a significant relationship between Online Purchase Intention and Online Purchase. Moreover, it was hypothesized that there will be a moderating effect of Fintech availability on the relationship between perceived financial risk and online purchase. Online survey method was used for the purpose of data collection, and quantitative analysis was used to test the hypotheses. A sample of 380 participants including both males and females who have experience of online shopping once in their lifetime were selected. Data was quantitatively analyzed through SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Sciences) and Warp. PLS 6.0. Results showed moderating effect of Fintech availability on the relationship between perceived financial risk and online purchase. Moreover, perceived financial risk has a significant relationship with online purchase intention and online purchase. Relationship between online purchase intention and online purchase behavior was also significant that shows online purchase intention leads to online purchasing behavior. In addition to this, scenario based quasi-experimental design has been also used to investigate online purchase behavior of Pakistani’s and which payment method they prefer to purchase online. Findings showed that Pakistani people prefer Fintech to perform online transactions. This study enables online merchants to understand online buyer behavior in e-commerce activities. Findings of this research can also help online merchants to formulate strategies that can reduce risks associated with online shopping, especially perceived financial risk that stops buyer to transact online. This study also has a theoretical implication to advance the theory of planned behavior. Moreover, findings also highlight viii the policy implication to boost economic growth by enabling sustainable ecommerce sector, where every transaction and ecommerce business should be documented.Item Employees as a Second Audience: The Effect of External Communication on Internal Brand Management on the Commercial Banks of Pakistan(Library Information Services COMSATS University Islamaabad Lahore Campus, 2020) Ammara Iftikhar; FA18-RMS-005; Dr. Ibrahim Abdullah; LHR TP 6052External communication not only effects customers who are considered as external target group but also effects the employee’s as internal target group, the effects of communications transmitted through external sources related to employees in management of the internal brand consequences remains limited in research of internal brand management. Accordingly, this study proposed to seek out the effects of external communication on internal brand management outcomes such as employees brand knowledge, brand commitment and brand citizenship behaviour. The empirical study collect data from the 316 employees of commercial banks across the different cities of provision Punjab Pakistan, who identify that how external communication congruence in line with actual products and services, actual values and internal communication, and will contribute to understand the effects either positive or negative in internal brand management outcomes with the strongest effect of brand knowledge. The study indicates that how single practices of organizations can address the stakeholders internally and externally, and how it can increase the effectiveness and efficiency of external communication. Managers are the one who can represent the promises of brand effectively which are communicated through external sources, make sure that organization’s actual values are aligned with the values which are being portray by the external communications. And most important they have to avoid overestimation and false information generated regarding the brand. Furthermore, little contribution of study will offer the guideline for more researches in managerial implications.Item Impact of Servant Leadership on Employees’ Innovative Work Behaviors; A Moderated Mediation Analysis.(Library Information Services COMSATS University Islamaabad Lahore Campus, 2020) Saira Altaf; FA18-RMS-001; Dr. Imran Shafique; LHR TP 6049The “purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between SL and IWB of employees via PsyEmp and to check whether psychological capital enhance PsyEmp amongst faculty members of universities in higher education sector of Punjab, Pakistan. Previous studies have ignored the relationship among these variables in higher education sector context. The Conservation of self-determination theory states that Inherent traits are their psychological capital which recognize that how much they are optimistic, hopeful, resilient and has efficacy. Unit of analysis are individual faculty members. The data has been gathered from various universities of Lahore and Faisalabad including both public and private sectors through self administered questionnaires of 200 faculty members of sample size via convenience sampling technique”. Basic descriptive statistics, “PLS Regression is executed to estimate the relationship between Servant Leadership, psychological capital, psychological empowerment and innovative work behaviors under current research. The study contributes to the extant literature, as the findings Suggest that, being a dispositional boundary condition, PsyCap plays a contingent role in explaining PsyEmp and the role of SL in fostering IWB. Moreover, the results also confirm previous findings, which suggested that servant leaders promote IWB”. The “findings imply that SL and PsyEmp are important for promoting innovative work behaviors. Given that innovative work behaviors is a complex product of an individual’s behavior, high psychological capital employees feel more empowered and utilize them to elicit innovative work behaviors. Managers are recommended to proactively develop and PsyEmp as well as positive psychological resources among employees to achieve IWB”.
