This study examines the ideas of digitization and sustainable supply chain management, focusing on their interactions and the advantages they may provide. Literature review gives the understand between digitalization and supply chain management. This study includes research papers, interviews case studies and company annual report that provide a comprehensive view to understand the issues. The supply chain manager at ABB was interviewed as part of the methodology used for this study to learn more about their supply chain's performance and sustainability as a result of their digitization effects. The project's findings show how digitalization has significantly impact on ABB's supply chain, resulting in improved responsiveness, efficiency, and transparency. By implementing digital technologies, ABB has been able to improve supplier and customer collaboration, expedite logistical procedures, and manage inventories more effectively. Impact of perceived gender discrimination on employee performance through employee well-being: A study of banks in Lahore, Pakistan
(Library Information Services, COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus, 2023) Fatima; SP21-RBA-114; Tamania Khan
The concepts of justice and equality in the workplace continue to be undermined by gender discrimination, which is still a common problem in many organizations. It is commonly known that discrimination against people based on their gender can have negative impacts on them, their organizations, and society as a whole. While several studies have looked at gender discrimination's immediate effects, less focus has been placed on the intermediary mechanisms through which it affects employee performance. The goal of this study is to clarify, through the mediation of employee wellness, how perceived gender discrimination affects employee performance.

Determinants of Employee Engagement: Case of Shahkam Industries
(Library Information Services, COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus, 2023) Maria Yousaf; SP21-RBA-108; Haroon Rashid
This study examined determinants of employee engagement in the textile sector of Pakistan – the case of Shahkam Industries. The aim was to identify factors that lead to lower levels of employee engagement at the company, selected one most important factor (turnover intentions), and identified a number of solutions to enhance overall employee engagement at the tactical level. Relevant literature was comprehensively analyzed and data were collected from a sample of 44 employees. The data was analyzed using SPSS. The results established a significantly strong negative relation between turnover intentions and employee engagement suggesting that higher turnover intentions are related to lower levels of employee engagement in the textile industry. A number of solutions are suggested to address high turnover intentions and enhance overall employee engagement including providing clear communication and job security, opportunities for career growth and development, recognizing and rewarding performance, involving employees in decision-making, improving work-life balance, and promoting a positive work environment in the company. Recommendations for future research have also been discussed in the end.

(Library Information Services, COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus, 2023) Tehreen Bint Ilyas; SP21-RMS-008; LHR TP 8133; Dr. Ahmad Qammar
This study will examine the relationship of Affinity to Technology Interaction (ATI) with Knowledge Sharing (KS) along with the direct constructive effect on Innovative Work Behaviour (IWB) of employees. Although there is much research on human-computer interaction and its relationship with cognition. This research will add significance that how the employee’s willingness towards technology helps the employees to achieve the knowledge sharing and innovative ideas of an organization and capabilities of employees using digital technologies. Meantime the innovative climate (IC) of an organization is effective for innovative or creative ideas toward decisions. To analyze the relationship between variables ATI, KS, IWB, and IC sample data of approximately 161 employees will be defined from IT companies in Lahore, Pakistan. The questionnaire is based on 38 items and each item would be measured by using a 5- Likert Scale ranging from “Strongly Agree to Strongly Disagree” Structured modeling questionnaire is adaptive, and a non-probability sampling technique is considered to be best to measure data and for the analysis of data the SPSS software would be considered effective

Revenue or Green Cost Sharing? Optimal coordination under government intervention
(Library Information Services, COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus, 2022) Hafiz Muhammad Adnan Yousaf; SP21-RPM-001; LHR TP 8144; Dr. Amir Riaz
Petroleum sector is one of the 3 rd largest carbon emissions contributing sector and addressing climate change issues by ignoring this sector is not possible. Organizations are rational in decision making and profit maximization which calls the role of government to intervene and drive the green technology improvement in line to the long-term environmental goals. To this end, the present study aims to find a mechanism for intervention for the development of green technologies within the petroleum sector and minimize the project risk. To find this mechanism, the present study considers a refinery as a manufacturer and a retailer under the government influence. Stackelberg equilibrium is assumed between the manufacturer and retailer in which manufacturer being higher in power acts as a Stackelberg leader and retailer as the Stackelberg follower. Also, Game Theory approach is also considered for modeling purpose and backward induction method was used to find a solution. The decision-making structure of manufacturer and retailer was analyzed under the influence of government intervention and centralized and decentralized SC structures were formulated. It was found that the decentralized SC structure do not coordinate the SC which requires a coordination contract. Revenue Sharing and Green cost sharing contract were analyzed and found that the revenue sharing contract can coordinate the SC more efficiently. Furthermore, it was found that the government can drive the green technology improvement by the implementation of tax and subsidy. However, a higher amount of tax implementation can slow down the development of green technology project and result lowest profit margins hence a risk to address in intervention mechanism. A numerical example is also presented to justify the problem and answer the research questions. In the end, the limitations of the present research and future research direction are depicted.
