By introducing behavioral interventions, mindfulness techniques, and structured productivity methods, the research proposes ways to “diffuse” procrastination patterns and promote self-regulation, focus, and goal-oriented action

    Mirpur An Empty City
(Library Information Services, COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus, 2019) Saliha Rashid; FA15-BDE-007; Miss Ayesha Saeed; LHR TP 5796
Mirpur is often described as an “empty city” due to its unique socio-economic pattern shaped by large-scale migration, particularly to the United Kingdom. While the city features modern infrastructure, large houses, and improved amenities funded by remittances, many of these residences remain unoccupied for most of the year. This seasonal population fluctuation creates a contrast between physical development and actual urban activity. The phenomenon highlights the impact of overseas migration on local economies, urban planning, and social dynamics, where financial prosperity coexists with reduced community presence.

(Library Information Services, COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus, 2019) Sana Waqar; FA15-BDE-021; Miss Ayesha Saeed; LHR TP 5791
Scoliosis is a medical condition characterized by an abnormal lateral curvature of the spine, commonly diagnosed during adolescence. A scoliosis guide provides essential information on its causes, symptoms, diagnosis, and treatment options. Modern management approaches include early screening, non-surgical interventions such as bracing and physiotherapy, and advanced surgical techniques for severe cases. Technological advancements like 3D imaging and minimally invasive spine surgery have improved treatment outcomes. Awareness and timely intervention are crucial in preventing progression and maintaining quality of life for affected individuals.
