Item Informality As Interaction Library Social Catalyst(2018) Hashir Ahmad Zufar; FA14-BAR-030; Sir, Meekal; LHR TP 5759Lahore was a city that we knew to be of an inclusive environment where social activity would be a more inviting aspect of the whole city, the city was an interconnected organism where physical and communicative boundaries were blurred but now the rapid modernization of Lahore has led to the demarcation and segmentation of these attributes. These phenomena are compartmentalized due to this rapid progression of the city. The public space used to be a place where informal gatherings used to take place and the audience will indulge in a discussion on various topics and sectors where knowledge would flow throughout the whole group of people. The spatial alignment of these informal spaces caters to the informal flow of information and knowledge through these sittings. This information used to outflow from an individual and reach masses similarly create a democratic discourse.
