Abstract:
This is my internship report with Alif Industry SMC-Pvt. Ltd., which is the pioneer and largest
manufacturer of sanitary pipes and fittings. The company also manufactures electrical pipes and
its fittings, electrical appliances, furniture and chemicals. This report includes the background,
profile, mission, vision, product line, awards and certificates of Alif Industry Pvt. Ltd.
This report includes the SWOT Analysis, Marketing Strategy, Competitive Strategy and
Organizational Structure of Alif Industry. Their marketing strategy includes Direct and Indirect
marketing. In Direct Marketing they have Corporate Projects, Distribution Network, Proposals
and Business-to-Business (B2B) Marketing, and use digital marketing and billboards in indirect
marketing. Their main key of competence is their supreme quality and their after sales services.
As I worked in the Audit department, I explained some Audit procedures which I learned in the
industry. This report includes the duties and tasks assigned to me during my internship program,
accomplishments and the new knowledge that I acquired in this program. I encountered some
problems like communication gap, explained in the report. This report described how this
internship impacts my career. Import procedure, the parties involved and the documentation of
imports in Pakistan is also explained in this report. At the end, according to my observations, I
provided some recommendations based on the conclusion of my whole discussion.
As the main purpose of the internship is to serves as a platform for experiential learning within a
practical setting and to apply the academic knowledge in a real-world scenario to gain new skills.
So in this report, I have tried to cover every aspect of the audit department in Alif Industry Pvt.
