Abstract

This report provides an overview of my internship experience, at BSP, where I served as a Sales & Marketing Intern in the Sales & Marketing Department within the Paper & Board Division. Within this report you will discover information about BSP Company, its products and services structure, various departments, how sales and marketing practices are implemented my personal experience during the internship period my responsibilities and duties as well as the impact this internship has had on my career.

BSP operates with two divisions; the Paper & Board Division and the Corrugated Packaging Division. As part of the Packages Group family Bulleh Shah Packaging was established with a mission to provide packaging solutions for brands. BSP is renowned in Pakistan for its expertise in corrugated packaging. Holds the distinction of being both the Renewable Packaging facility and sole provider of Liquid Packaging Board in Pakistan. With a history spanning 60 years Packages Limited has been a player in producing paper and board materials. Initially founded through a collaboration between Pakistan’s Ali Group and Sweden’s Akerlund & Rausing company Packages Limited has built a reputation nationwide for delivering top notch packaging solutions using paper and board materials.

Since its establishment in 1968 BSP has continuously expanded its capacity and capabilities to meet Pakistan’s growing demand, for paper and board products. Packages Limited made an investment, in Bulleh Shah Paper Mills, a project in Kasur back in 2005. The plant, spread over 225 acres diversified its product lines successfully. BSP has shown adaptability to technology and a deep understanding of evolving customer needs and behaviors. These factors have played a role in building their brand reputation through offering high quality products at prices.

This summary provides a glimpse into the observations and insights that will be discussed further in the following sections. It outlines the context highlights BSPs expertise in sectors and specifically focuses on my internship experience within the Sales & Marketing department. The aim of this report is to provide an understanding of my contributions well as shed light, on the company’s operations and the valuable insights gained during this enriching internship opportunity.
