Abstract

The well-known fertilizer company, Fatimafert Limited, sells urea under the trade name "Bubber Sher" for use in regional agriculture. It belongs solely to Fatima Fertilizer Company Limited. Recently, I completed my internship at Fatimafert Limited, where I had the opportunity to apply the valuable theoretical knowledge, I had gained at COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus. This experience helped me understand the practical application and significance of commonly recognized principles in the field of Human Resource Management, such as recruitment, selection, training, policy implementation, and various other functions. My internship at Fatimafert Limited has taught me a great deal about the inner workings of the business and the best practices for improving the company's profitability. In this report, I have summarized the fundamental operations of the plant. Through this internship program, I learned about the distinct functions of the plant. Despite all the excellent qualities of Fatimafert Limited, I observed a few areas where improvements could significantly enhance employee loyalty. Moreover, I assisted in conducting a SWOT analysis of the entire plant. My time spent here, as well as the lessons and insights I gained, are reflected in this analysis. I have tried to describe the knowledge I acquired from this experience. Every moment of my time, my expertise, and my energy, along with everything I learned, is encapsulated in this report. What I have learned in my coursework thus far pertains to the entire design, management, rules, processes, and objectives of the organization. My internship experience has taught me a great deal about the fertilizer sector, and I have shared what I have learned about the industry's practices and production techniques. Everything I learned during my time there has been documented in this report. This report serves as a valuable record for my professional life and is the culmination of my activities. My area of internship was in the Human Resource Management Department, where I was responsible for managing data in Excel, WMS, and Oracle. This report contains an introduction to the company, the HR Department, and my learning as an HR intern. It also includes information regarding the company's functions. I interned at Fatima Fertilizers Company Limited Sheikhupura Plant, where I gained insights into the company's operations and other activities. This report also provides details about the performance and operations of Fatima Fertilizers Company Limited.
