Established in 2022 by Rebecka Zavaleta and Usama Mahmud, both UPenn alumni, Paismo is a global provider of payroll, benefits, and HR services, with a specific focus on Pakistan. Operating in the US, Mexico, Ethiopia, and Pakistan, Paismo secured $1.5 million in funding. The SaaS platform integrates payroll, timesheets, and attendance, emphasizing a local impact with global solutions. The goal is to position itself as the leading HR technology provider in Pakistan and expand into Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and North Africa (MENA).
