dc.description.abstractIn order to achieve national fertilizer production self-sufficiency, FFC was established as a private limited business in 1978. ● It is the largest Pakistani Fertilizer manufacturer. Its market shares are about 44%. Its annual production capacity is over 2.8 million tons of urea (Design: 2.05 Million MeT). ● The name of the urea that it is producing is SONA urea. ● This company has been placed in “Top 25 companies” on Karachi Stock Market for the last 14 years. It was also awarded a Good Performance Award from the Chamber of Commerce. History and Introduction The biggest urea producer in the nation, Fauji Fertilizer Company Limited (FFC), was established on May 8, 1978 as a joint venture by M/s Haldor Topsoe A/S of Denmark and the Pakistani Fauji Foundation. It was founded to close the anticipated gap between domestic production and demand. The Fauji Foundation owns 44% of the company's shares, along with a number of other individuals, financial institutions, and investment firms. On May 31, 2002, the Company bought Pak Saudi Fertilizer Limited (PSFL) through the privatization process Since 1994, FFC has been listed among Pakistan's top 25 companies based
