Abstract

This report consists of six weak internships in a renowned textile company known as Crescent Bahuman Limited. CBL is located at Lahore-Sargodha Road, Pindi Bhattian. This report shows my experience gained through my internship at Crescent Bahuman Limited. In this report, I have briefly described the major factors of the textile firm that I have learned from my internship period in CBL. In this report, you will discover the historical background of the Organization from its inauguration to its present position where it stands right now. After completing my internship at Crescent Bahuman Limited, I learned a lot about the textile sector of Pakistan. During my stay at CBL as an internee, I learned a lot about the textile sector and how they make quality garments from raw cotton. After working at Crescent Bahuman Limited, I realized how much work and effort the workers have to put in the production just to satisfy the customers and meet their expectations. In this report, technical and strategic aspects have been analyzed to evaluate the current position of Crescent Bahuman Limited. Along with its SWOT analysis, background, organizational structure, marketing strategy, and business process analysis, the competitive strategy has been discussed and recommendation has been made for improvement which may be required. The end of my report consists of duties, accomplishments, new knowledge acquired, problems encountered, processes, and policies that I have gone through in my internship period. Crescent Bahuman Limited. Pakistan’s first vertically integrated firm is working in the production and marketing of denim textile and apparel products ranging from raw cotton to ready-to-wear goods. The company operates as a spinning, weaving, and GMT apparel. Spinning produces different varieties of yarns depending on the requirements of the customers; Weave work is weaving different kinds of fabric to meet the needs and demands of the customer, and the last one is GMT apparel, which produces the final product from the processed fabric, which is a garment.
