Abstract

During my internship at Posten traders, along with the focus on the accounts department, I learned a lot of other things about the trading industry. This report explains my experience at the company and the knowledge I gained during the internship period. Posten Traders has its headquarters in Karachi. The company offers a range of products, such as salt, rice, ginger, and garlic. My task was to record and review financial transactions and documents such as creating payment vouchers. I got to know about how important these payment vouchers are to maintain accurate financial records. During my internship tenure, I had a comprehensive overview of the organizational structure of the company. The manager of the company along with my supervisor oversees various departments including Sales, Purchase, and Services. The organizational structure helps to run the operations of the company effectively. Throughout my internship at Posten Traders, my supervisor and the other seniors guided me with their experience and valuable insights about the functions of the company, particularly, they helped me about the processes and importance of the accounts department. Their guidance helped me to better understand the financial procedures of the company. My experience at Posten traders was fun and meaningful due to the supportive seniors.
