dc.description.abstractOrganizational change is as old as the organization itself. The roots of change management go back to World War II and the large-scale mobilization of soldiers. As a result, this led to the study of management and then to the impact of the changes (9mconsulting, 2018). The emergence, development and development of change management, from basic understanding to conceptual foundation, and then to recognized disciplines. Four different eras marked the development and growth of the discipline of change management: Pre-1990s: Foundations The first era of change management was the period prior to 1990. During this period, the emphasis is on upgrading individuals' insights of human beings, how individuals experience change, and how human beings cooperate and react. This era provides knowledge, research and systems imperative to understanding fruitful change.
