Abstract

This case study aims to present the impact of novel coronavirus imposed on consumer behavior and purchasing pattern in country Pakistan. This pandemic forces the consumer to change its behavior and change their ways of spending. We discuss the consumer behavior change in online shopping, e-commerce, online payments channel according to the circumstances and also this pandemic is auspicious for the e-commerce and banking sector. The survey contains above 1200 people data regarding a change in their purchasing pattern and this concludes that in this pandemic Pakistani consumer behavior changed a lot and they are trying to adopt a digitalized system and the Pakistani government also took more prestigious initiatives to help the public, consequently boosting our country’s economy and create more business, job opportunities for the public.
