Switch Enterprises

Abstract

I worked on a range of financial and parts-selling projects at Switch Enterprise during my internship. I began by doing bookkeeping assistance for the chief accountant. Invoices were generated, financial data was entered into spreadsheets, and I kept track of the inflow and outflow of funds for a few key clients. Since these clients were very important to our company's revenue, accuracy was essential. The company's strength lies in its ability to take advantage of opportunities, overcome challenges, and maintain a strong commitment to customer satisfaction as it grows, diversifies, and changes over time. With a clear route to a future characterized by innovation and quality, Switch Enterprise is in a strong position to hold onto its leadership role in the logistics industry. In addition, I assisted in determining our team's bonuses according to job performance. Subsequently, I spoke with carriers in order to persuade them to select Switch Enterprise's offerings. This was a fun part where I learned how to effectively communicate the value of our services. Also, I developed my ability to negotiate well with carriers. I gained a great deal of money and selling skills from this internship, and I also learned a great deal about the logistics industry. I look forward to applying the knowledge and skills I've gained in my academic and professional pursuits.
