Abstract

I completed an internship at Dollar East currency Exchange Company from July 4th 2023 to August 15th 2023. I was responsible for conducting daily financial analysis and tracking currency exchange rates. I also had the opportunity to learn about the currency exchange industry and the different types of currency. During my internship, I observed customer interactions at the exchange counter, understanding the importance of providing excellent customer service in a financial setting. I also assisted in addressing customer inquiries and concerns, enhancing my communication and problem-solving skills. The challenges I faced during my internship included dealing with long lines of customers, managing a large volume of transactions, and staying up-to-date on currency exchange rates. I overcame these challenges by working hard, staying organized, and asking for help when needed. Overall, I had a positive experience at Dollar East Currency Exchange Company. I learned a lot about the currency exchange industry and the skills I need to be successful in this field. I am grateful for the opportunity to have interned at this company and I am confident that the skills and knowledge I gained will be valuable in my future career.
