dc.description.abstractInternet of Things (IOT) is a propitious technology that is able to do wide range of tasks may it be in health sector, environment monitoring, transport systems, or any other commercial areas. This project deals with the designing of smart platform including four components, location of everything component, data collection component, data filtering/analyzing component and data mining component. From here gigantic volumes of data are being generated with the help of sensors installed in building which will detect user’s location as he/she enters the building. The user will have an IOT device like mobile acting as receiver. From the relevant sensor nodes placed in the region the data will then be collected and compiled to be processed into useful actions that can “command and control” things. This will make our lives much easier, safer and enhance its quality to a certain standard of living. This in a way will also likely reduce our impact on the surroundings. The vision of this new era is limitless, with astounding capacity to make our day to day life better.
