dc.description.abstractIn thisthesis,westudythecosmicevolutionoftheacceleratinguniverse in theEinstein-Cartan-Sciama-Kibbletheorybyusing°athomogeneous and isotropicmodel.Inthisregards,weconsidersomeparameterizations of theequationofstateparameter ! in termsofredshiftfunction.This parametrization maybeaTaylorseriesextensioninthescalefactor,a Taylorseriesextensionintheredshiftoranyothergeneralparametrization of !. Weusegraphicalbehaviortoexplorethecosmologicalparameters suchasdeceleration,Om-diagnostic,state¯nderandsquaredspeedofsound parameters. Also,weexaminethevalidityofthegeneralizedsecondlaw of thermodynamicsatapparenthorizontakingintoaccountBekenstein- Hawkingentropy.
