Impact of Digitalization of Supply Chain Management of Fruits and Vegetables Markets in Pakistan

Abstract

Pakistan is an Agro based country and much of the GDP is gained by this sector. This sector supports directly and indirectly. The purpose is to know the issues in traditional method and then resolve all issues in terms of efficient supply chain of fruits and vegetables market by making the process digitalized. We have discussed some of the issues being faced by the farmers in real time. Also, the remedies which can add value to enhance productivity in agricultural lands. Many of the strategies to digitalize the whole process are being discussed by viewing the supply chain management of fruits and vegetables market in an effective manner by using advanced technology. All the strategies will help farmers and state government in making strategic decisions and increasing the per yield acre production and lowers the risks and uncertainties. This is done to know the challenges and factors affecting this sector and implementing explained strategies that can maintain the livelihood of farmers. All the ways are suggested in which the limited resources can be used in useful and wise manner to lower the risks and money being wasted in fruits and vegetables sector of Pakistan. The supply chain is yet too much challenging in this sector but the proper, organized and integration of supply chain with technology can be done to impact in a positive way. Even the significance of digitalization is being explained later that how they can add value to farmers and end consumers.
