WATER FRONT DEVELOPMENT PROPERTY

Abstract

River seems as fundamental element to provide support for development and are main highlights of urban history. River gives variation of comforts and services to different communities over the world, for example, drinking water, food, travel, natural life territory, association with place, tasteful interest, economic benefits of events, and many more. This thesis project examines the importance of the River chennab to its present urban community Multan and how riverfront design can function as a main merging element for the people of targeted cities of its context as Muzzafergarh , Khnapur , Khangrah ,Boson and their ecosystem to create the south Punjab site (multan )as a tourist active area where multan has been already famous for sacred shrines and its old city that attract tourist and local people of Pakistan due to its relevance to sacred shrines and Sufis place . Ravi Chennab can give benefit to close by urban areas that can reestablish the missing connection among individuals and a stream creating areas of interest and activities through green space design that can be cooperated to create opportunities for the people of cities and tourist. The aim is to use the river front to merge urban communities and in doing this it can promote a future for our environment while providing economical benefit, aesthetic and cultural growth.
