Abstract

ArtMandi is a web and mobile application which enables its users to buy and sell artworks of different kinds, this platform is not restricted about which arts can be sold or bought using this platform as far as it is an artwork. The users will create an account after which they will be able to sell or buy the artworks of any kind with the option of bidding and buying on fixed price. The seller and buyer will be able to contact each other via chatroom, the contact details of users will not be shared with any other user, but if the users try to connect with each other personally using they will be warned firstly and if they still do it they will be banned from the application. Buyer will be able to post comments or reviews on an artwork, the reviews will be visible to everyone that accesses the application but the comments will only be visible to the seller who posted the picture of artwork. The payment on the app will be done through two methods out of which one is Cash On delivery and the other one is Stripe method (via debit/credit card). The delivery will be done by the admins after sellers drop off/send their artworks to the given address. The buyer will have the option to return the artwork in a limited time and the admin will review if the buyer’s complaint about artwork is valid enough to refund then the buyer will get the refund and artwork will be sent to the seller. If the admins think that the buyer’s request is invalid buyer will not get a refund and will have the option to either receive or not receive the artwork. Due to the short time and hectic schedule we were not able to add some features which we wanted to but we are keen to add them in future.
