Abstract
Culture can be defined as the foundation of a nation city or tribe. It is the actual depiction of
where the person belongs to. It is hard for a person belongs to. It is hard for a person to survive
without knowing his roots. Well such is the cruel truth of the city "Lahore" which has lost its
culture. This thesis will explore a methodology for the regeneration and preservation of traditions
inspiring by modern architecture. The need to bring back the connection to the city’s root is
being felt more prominently with each passing day
