When the pandemic unfolds in Pakistan and shows the alarming situation in the country, as can be seen from morbidity and mortality rate. There are signs of an active phase of the Pandemic and increase the number of cases in the country. In this situation the government imposed significant sanctions on the movement of citizens. When the Pandemic is at its initial stage it affects the transportation industry because of low levels of passenger traffic. Among these restrictive measures, the transfer of the majority of workers on paid leave is particularly noticeable. Then the environment is replaced with the lockdown when the number of cases is increased similar with the other countries like China, Italy, Spain who are already competing with this situation. The effect of Pandemic on labor income is significant in every sector especially in textile sector.

How and Why COVID-19 affect or raised the Unemployment
(Library Information Services, COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus, 2020) Ali Mohsin; FA17-BBA-106; Naila Yosuf; LHR TP 6775
The topic which I choose for my project is that how Covid-19 affect the unemployment. This is considered to be the very major topic for nowadays. Coronavirus is viral disease that can be spread in the form of direct and indirect or close contact to the peoples who have been already infected by this disease through mouth or nose secretions or through air. Unemployment is the only major issue that is caused by covid-19 because many factories or firm remained closed during this virus and they felt helpless. No one can understand their problems. As a result of stay-at-home orders reduces the demand of labors and many workers had stopped working that results in unemployment. In this project I will tell you about the unemployment ration that how unemployment rate increased during or after the covid-19. Why it seemed very problematic issue in Pakistan? As workers are the back bone in raising the economy of Pakistan, without these labor firms are noting and cannot generate the profit as much as to raise the economy, And how we can do better in the future?
