Having a fundamental understanding of the term "marketing," which is used in many contexts, is important. In the context of marketing, "marketing" refers to activities that generate value through communication between groups. An important socioeconomic activity, marketing has been around for hundreds of years. An essential activity for both improving community welfare and satisfying human desires. The foundation of marketing is production. By distributing goods and services, it helps manufacturing activities succeed. Through marketing, producers and consumers are brought together for mutual benefit. It facilitates the process of transferring control over goods and services to clients. If a sufficient marketing plan is not in place to make the products created available to consumers, the production process will be deemed useless. The practice of advertising and selling a business's products or services online is known as digital Marketing. The goal of the twenty-first century is to establish a direct link between work effectiveness and completion time. For HRM operations to be successful, they must be both efficient and effective. Artificial intelligence (AI) has the potential to improve employee engagement, decrease repetitive tasks, and save time. Nevertheless, it interferes with HR functions like hiring and performance reviews. For example, In-person encounters could be emotionally draining. Training and education for HR managers is crucial, as is their ability to adapt to new situations. AI has the potential to greatly accelerate this development. The use ofAI might greatly enhance HRM practices on a global scale.Item Emerging Challenge of Air Pollution for Pakistan due to Unmanageable Industrial & Transport Emissions(Library Information Services, COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus, 2023) Momna Daud; CIIT/FA22-RBA-014/LHR; Dr. Sidra Ramzan; LHR TP 9447This study finds the gap between existing literature and searches related to air pollution, what are the effects and challenges facing by Pakistan. This study will critically evaluate the existing data and will give the possible policies. Pakistan’s air pollution level has become hazardous due to immense use of private cars and uncontrollable emissions from the industries. The institute for health metrics and evaluation found that air pollution was the most common environmental or occupational cause of death and disability in Pakistan in 2017 and the fifth most common cause overall. Additionally, the emission of various air pollutants, including greenhouse gases, is anticipated to significantly rise as economic growth and energy demands rise. There is very less stations and data on healthcare statistics available. Air pollution and health problems are directly linked, according to a comprehensive literature review. It is found by World Bank that Pakistan has crossed deaths rate and it has reached 20,000 premature deaths. Over the past two decades, major air pollutants are rising reportedly in Pakistan especially in Lahore. On addition, there are different studies which have found out that Pakistan has crossed limits of harmful pollutants in air. In 2019, in a major city like Lahore PM2.5 concentrations crossed the limits of national standards, according to measurements. There are also studies which noted the side effects of these pollutants. This study is to find out the harmful pollutants and its effects by studying the existing literature and finding gaps. Also finding out the what the policy makers are doing in Pakistan regarding making policies on health issues and air quality.Item ASSESSMENT OF WILLINGNESS TO USE PUBLIC TRANSPORT IN LAHORE, EFFECTS OF HEALTH, INCOME, AGE AND PERCEIVED QUALITY(Library Information Services, COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus, 2023) Muhammad Ahmad Nawaz; FA22-RBA-010; Dr. Sidra Ramzan; LHR TP 8753Public transport is an essential element of a country’s economy and infrastructure. More usage of public transport by people has many beneficial effects like less pollution, less traffic, less accidents and growth of economy. In Pakistan people generally prefer private vehicles for transportation, which is causing problems like accidents, pollution and traffic jams in big cities. Purpose of this research was to study some of the factors that affect willingness to use public transport of Lahore’s inhabitants. Lahore is one of the biggest cities of Pakistan and is suffering from terrible case of air pollution, one of the big reasons of air pollution is smoke from vehicles, So, if there are less vehicles on roads of Lahore, it can decrease the air pollution significantly. In this quantitative research data was collected using an online questionnaire and was analyzed using SPSS software. The results of this study reveal that concern for health and better perceived quality enhances the willingness to of people to use public transport, while we did not find any significant impact of age on willingness to use public transport, it was revealed from the results that having more income and resources means less willingness to use public transport. The continuous progress of its distinct sectors, Aslam Supermarket, Banera Restaurant, Pizza Junction and Q Links, is a proof of the organization's devotion to quality, development, and their customers loyalty. Brothers Enterprises have gained a strong presence and reputation in the market in all of their respective sectors. Recently, I completed my internship in the Accounts Department of Aslam Supermarket, which is one of leading sectors of Brothers Enterprises, where I tried to put into practice the knowledge and information I gained in the University. This practical experience in the Aslam Supermarket has assisted me with professionalism in the field of accounting and finance. During my Internship, I was responsible for accounting entries, making of vouchers, Journal vouchers, accounts payable, verifying documents, bank reconciliation and organize documents into their respective files. In this internship report, I've explained and provided an overview of the company’s background, business operations, their organizational structure, scope of work completed during the internship, company’s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats analysis and their competitive strategies and few more important stuffs. Everything I have learned and experienced is explained in this report as well. My time spent in the company as well as the lessons I've learned and the understandings I have gained, all are detailed in this report. Overall, my internship at Aslam Supermarket was a useful learning experience.Item Medcare MSO(Library Information Services, COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus., 2023-11-20) ANNA SHAFIQ; CIIT/FA20-BAF-021/LHR; Dr. Sidra RamzanMy immersive six-week engagement with Medcare MSO, spanning from 10 July 2023, to 01 September 2023, provided a captivating and productive initiation into the realms of healthcare finance and information technology. Within this internship, I garnered insights into the efficacious integration of IT within the healthcare domain, gaining hands-on familiarity with corporate functionalities, revenue-cycle management intricacies, and the complex landscape of medical billing. This report is the outline of my experiences and knowledge which I gained from my internship at Medcare MSO. It includes the business's structure, processes, financial performance, market evaluation, and ultimate goal. This report not only serves as a record of my journey, but also as a forum in which I can share what I've learned and receive constructive criticism. In the parts that follow, I will attempt to detail the many facets of my internship. In addition to serving as a record of my knowledge and experience, this can also serve as a resource for researching the rapidly developing and interrelated sectors of healthcare finance, IT, and business. I plan to reflect on the enormous influence the position has had on my both professional and private progress, offer wise advice, and talk about some key themes throughout these pages. Since joining Medcare MSO, I've had the opportunity to learn a great deal about the healthcare IT industry, notably its intricate financial aspects. It was a great chance for me to expand my knowledge and expertise in a dynamic profession. My enthusiasm for integrating healthcare technology has outgrown because of this opportunity, and I can't wait to put what I've learned to a high use in the future. Finally, I'd want to remark that my time spent working for Medicare an MSO was a turning point in my professional development. My future career in healthcare information technology and finance will benefit greatly from the knowledge and experience I have obtained here. The thought of putting my skills to use and making a positive difference in the dynamic healthcare industry excites me.
