The concept of a learning organization emphasizes the importance of continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and adaptation to drive organizational success. Ambidextrous innovation refers to an organization's ability to simultaneously explore new opportunities and exploit existing capabilities, fostering both radical and incremental innovations. The primary objective of this research is to investigate how learning organizations facilitate ambidextrous innovation, ultimately influencing work engagement. The study employs a mixed-methods approach, combining qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis. The qualitative phase involves conducting in-depth interviews with key organizational stakeholders to gain insights into the characteristics, practices, and strategies that contribute to learning organizations. Additionally, existing literature on learning organizations, ambidextrous innovation, and work engagement reviewed to develop a theoretical framework. The quantitative phase focuses on collecting survey data from a sample of organizations across various industries. The survey instrument assesses organizational learning capabilities, ambidextrous innovation behaviors, and work engagement indicators. Statistical techniques, such as regression analysis, were used to examine the relationships between these variables. The findings of this study contribute to the existing body of knowledge by providing empirical evidence on the role of learning organizations in fostering ambidextrous innovation and improving work engagement. The result offers insight for practitioners and managers on how to cultivate a learning culture, promote ambidexterity, and enhance organizational performance. ix The implications of this research extend to both theory and practice. Theoretically, it contributes to the understanding of the dynamic interplay between learning organizations, ambidextrous innovation, and work engagement. Practically, it provides guidance for organizations seeking to enhance their innovative capabilities and achieve sustainable competitive advantage in today's rapidly changing business environment. In conclusion, this thesis aims to shed light on the influence of learning organizations on work engagement through the lens of ambidextrous innovation. By exploring the relationships between these variables, this research seeks to contribute to organizational theory and offer practical recommendations for organizations aiming to thrive in an increasingly complex and competitive landscape.Item Does environmental Corporate Social Responsibility Influence Organizational Competitiveness? What Factors are Involved in Sustaining their Relationship?(Library Information Services, COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus, 2022) Rabiya Sagheer; SP20-RMS-017; Dr. Muhammad Shakeel Aslam; LHR TP 7954Nowadays, the environmental decline has become a global dilemma. A lot of industrial practitioners, scholars, environmental legislatures, and businessmen these days agree that increasing air and water pollution, global warming, resource scarcity and the use of hazardous substances are all contributing factors to environmental degradation. Stakeholders are exerting heavy pressure on organizations to limit the adverse effects of their activities. Therefore, businesses need to shift from traditional to contemporary eco-friendly ways. However, in literature little attention has been devoted to green issues-especially in the developing countries. Thus, the study strives to bridge this gap by examining the influence of environmental corporate social responsibility (ECSR) on environmental performance and competitive advantage in Pakistan. The study also examines the mediating effects of green product innovation and green service innovation in a relationship of ECSR, with environmental performance and competitive advantage. Furthermore, moderating effects of organizational agility and individual green values for the relationship of ECSR and green innovation are also tested. A face to-face and online questionnaire survey was allocated to the middle-level employees of the manufacturing and service sectors of Pakistan in general and Lahore in particular. The data of 343 respondents were collected. WarPLS and SPSS 17 were used to further analysis the results of the study. The findings of the research not only contribute to the existing knowledge but also guide the policymakers and top management of corporate firms to minimize harmful emissions, water contamination, air pollution, waste, and energy conservation
