PLS this shows the positive relationship between the hypotheses. This study is done on individual levelItem Impact of Servant Leadership on Employees’ Innovative Work Behaviors; A Moderated Mediation Analysis.(Library Information Services, COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus, 2020) Saira Altaf; FA18-RMS-001; Dr. Imran Shafique; LHR TP 6049The “purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between SL and IWB of employees via PsyEmp and to check whether psychological capital enhance PsyEmp amongst faculty members of universities in higher education sector of Punjab, Pakistan. Previous studies have ignored the relationship among these variables in higher education sector context. The Conservation of self-determination theory states that Inherent traits are their psychological capital which recognize that how much they are optimistic, hopeful, resilient and has efficacy. Unit of analysis are individual faculty members. The data has been gathered from various universities of Lahore and Faisalabad including both public and private sectors through self administered questionnaires of 200 faculty members of sample size via convenience sampling technique”. Basic descriptive statistics, “PLS Regression is executed to estimate the relationship between Servant Leadership, psychological capital, psychological empowerment and innovative work behaviors under current research. The study contributes to the extant literature, as the findings Suggest that, being a dispositional boundary condition, PsyCap plays a contingent role in explaining PsyEmp and the role of SL in fostering IWB. Moreover, the results also confirm previous findings, which suggested that servant leaders promote IWB”. The “findings imply that SL and PsyEmp are important for promoting innovative work behaviors. Given that innovative work behaviors is a complex product of an individual’s behavior, high psychological capital employees feel more empowered and utilize them to elicit innovative work behaviors. Managers are recommended to proactively develop and PsyEmp as well as positive psychological resources among employees to achieve IWB”.Item The impact of Abusive Supervision on Employee Creativity: The Mediating Role of Job Stress(Library Information Services COMSATS University Islamaabad Lahore Campus, 2020) Summyia Gull; FA18-RMS-013; Dr. Imran Shafique; LHR TP 6055The present study investigates the procedure through which abusive supervision impacts employees’ creativity. Specifically, this study tests the relationship between abusive supervision employees’ creativity directly and through employees job stress as mediating mechanism. To establish the relationship of the variables, conservation of resource theory is used in this study. Abusive supervision could similarly be seen as harmful type of relationship conflict, which has seen as unfavorable to the creativity of employees (Bai et al, 2016). Most of the time abusive supervision effects mental health of the employees also. It is found that stress always drive from the pressure that managers put on employee. But some pressure is good for the employees so that they can perform well in the organization but forcing them too hard can cause serious issues, such as bad performance, low creativity and high turnover (HBR, 2019). We have tested these hypotheses on data collected from 180 private school teachers through questionnaire in Lahore. The findings support our hypotheses and mediation model. To analyze the relationship convenience sampling technique is used. Confirmatory factor analysis used for reliability and convergent validity and discriminant validity test used for validity then correlation and regression analysis.Item Impact of Environmental Responsibility Practices on Employees’ Pro-Environmental Behavior: Evidence from Construction Industry(Library Information Services COMSATS University Islamabad Lahore Campus, 2020-01-30) Iqra Kabir; FA18-RPM-007; Dr. Imran Shafique; LHR TP 6063The construction sector has always been led to environmental challenges caused by unsustainable actions of human activity, thereby, increasing demand for environmental responsibility (ER) practices in the sector. This research is conducted to investigate how key measurements of pro-environmental behaviors (PEBs) could be related to ER practices of construction projects. The results show that employees’ perceptions of ER practices directed toward non-owner stakeholders are positively related to their PEBs. This relationship is partially mediated by the environmental commitment of project participants. Conversely, employees’ perceptions of ER practices directed toward the local community (external stakeholders) have only an insignificant impact on their PEBs. The study uses survey approach to collect data using a self- administered questionnaire from the sample of 340 in different construction firms of Pakistan by using convenience sampling technique. Basic descriptive statistics and Partial Least Squares (PLS) regression is executed to demonstrates how ER activities aimed at different stakeholders could be used and at what mechanism ER practices can efficiently be employed by project participants to stimulate their pro-environmental behaviors (PEBs).Item Linking Pay for Performance and Employee’s Creativity: The Mediating Role of Psychological Safety(Library Information Services COMSATS University Islamaabad Lahore Campus, 2020) Rida Aslam Chatha; FA18-RMS-004; Dr. Imran Shafique; LHR TP 6051This study intends to examine the effect of pay for performance directly and indirectly on the employee’s creativity through the mediating role of psychological safety in advertising agencies of Pakistan.
