A customer satisfaction is taken as mediating effect in between the e-Service Quality and Repurchase Intentions of a consumer. The factors and antecedents are studied. Model is proposed through the literature review done from the prior studies. Previous literature strengthens the proposed model justification. Maximum likelihood estimation technique has been used in SEM to test hypothesis. Survey has been conducted. Survey respondents are from diverse background; banking professionals, students, pedagogue and housewives residing in Lahore region of PakistanItem Impact of Client skills on IT project success with mediating role of project requirements volatility(Library Information Services COMSATS University Islamabad Lahore Campus, 2014-02-04) Sadia Quddous; SP14-MSPM-006; Dr. Faisal Tehseen Shah; LHR TP 4354This study examines the impact of client skills on IT project success with mediating role of requirements volatility. Most of the literature however discusses failure factors and risks in general and the impact of those failure factors on IT project success. This study in addition arbitrates the role of project requirements volatility on IT project success, which has not been explored previously in Pakistan IT Industry. Perceived understanding of client knowledge about skills like project management skills, technical and non-technical skills are studied from the perspective of project development managers, senior managers and team leads who have direct interaction and communication with the clients (Project owner). Certain volatility factors like Scope changes during project, Project plan not updated after requirements changes and Change control not monitored effectively. Volatility factors are taken as mediating effect in between the client skills and success of IT projects. IT projects completed in time, budget and with complete project functionality and performance, and lastly client satisfaction is considered as success indicators of IT projects. A summarized model is proposed through the literature review done from the previous studies. All forgoing literature strengthens the model justification. Software developers, team leads, technical leads, project managers are targeted as respondents for our quantitative analysis. Questionnaires are circulated through a systematic random sampling technique for data collection. Using various tests statistical analysis are performed and findings are reported as results and conclusion. Future implications are also be recommended and proposed.Item Impact of effective Cross Cultural Communication through agile practices on project success.(Library Information Services COMSATS University Islamabad Lahore Campus, 2015-02-03) Fatima Shahid; SP14-MSPM-015; Dr. Faisal Tehseen Shah; LHR TP 4357In every Outsourced project proper communication plays a vital role, through proper communication between a vendor and client there is no gap of misunderstanding and ultimately helps in the project success. When there are no proper strategies planned out for communication in outsourced projects, then there would be a high risk of failure, waste of time and cost. It is important for both vendor and client to clearly lay out every useful information for carrying out the project successfully and also to enhance the trust and minimizing the cultural difference and defects can be prevented. The aim of this research is to increase the understanding of how agile practices can be used to improve communication between client and vendors involved in outsourced IT software project development. The emphases is on the positive impacts that the implementation of the practices will have on the project success and to see the mediating effect of communication channel and effective communication on the relation between agile practices and project success. Using the vast literature available in the field of agile practices we have shown how agile practices could be used to enhance better communication in a software development project and how it affects the project outcome. The questionnaire scale is adopted from prior studies done related to our study and then we received responses from the project managers, senior software engineer ,software engineer, interne, that are involved in the IT outsourced projects development in Pakistan software houses to get the true and valid outcomes. Then the sobel test, regression analysis, correlation test are performed through SPSS. The results reveals that how after using agile practices during the development of IT software development projects it decreases the communication gap between the vendor and client, through appropriate communication channels, preventing defects, minimizing cultural difference, visibility and documentation and the outcome of the project changes into success. The final conclusion and recommendations will be indicated after the analysis and further research areas and implication of the survey will also be spotlighted. Future recommendations and restrictions based on the self-analysis will also be offered for further research areas suggestions for future study.
