In historical sense, particularly as apposite to earlier and medieval history, the term is usually applied towards the people employed in small scale production of goods. The meaning of craft and its values continuously changing with development of new methods and techniques. A craft village is one stop craft destination which offers visitors a unique sort of variety of craft related activities and programmes. It is intended to not be missed and must visit tourist destination. In this craft village visitors will learn about the salt-crafts of Khewra through craft demonstrations and hands on interactive sessions. It will boost the local salt craft productions and visitors will also experience the interactive handicraft making apart from viewing the techniques in which they make such fine masterpieces. It also accommodates various trading units.
