Automated News Analysing & Publishing System

A-NAPS is an automated news analysing and publishing system to fulfil the communication gap between different news sources, the system has been made to assist the process of gathering the same information from multiple sources, it will automate the content management and gathering of the same information from multiple sources. It uses AI model and machine learning algorithms while extracting news from various websites to categorize the data more efficiently, it speeds up research by crunching similar data from various resources to a single platform, so it eases the process of checking authenticity of news. A-NAPS utilizes AI moderators in comment section to promote a healthier discussion by blocking the use of inappropriate language. It will also limit the work of various individuals as there are firms available specifically for finding the facts in the news. A-NAPS prioritises the news of subscribed categories and display them to registered users.

As now day’s online market is booming rapidly, and more people are now preferring online shopping. But online auction and bidding is still an untapped business here in Pakistan. Other e commerce websites sell products (new and used) but their work model is composed of fixed prices, so our project is about an online auction and bidding site where people can bid for different products. The bidding process is pretty much like a conventional bidding process where products are listed for auction and people will bid for them or can buy out the product. The auction will be listed for 24 hours minimum or the time set by the bidder itself and after that, the highest bidder will get the product. The bidding process will be close bidding. One of the advantages of this site is that it can encompass every aspect of shopping even you can bid for a car, bike, collectibles, shoes, antique art, and so on. So BiDOO is the online web application-based platform where people can bid or buyout any product and get the best price out of it, and along with that any person can be a seller and sell the product to the highest bidder. The basic principle of all these bidding scenarios is demand and supply. The products having higher demand will automatically get the highest bid.
Farm to Shop App

Pakistan is known as an agricultural state and most of our population is directly linked with agricultural farming and as a nation we are blessed with such geographical and climatic conditions that this country grows every type of crop, vegetables and fruits of supreme quality such that we export lots of these in other areas of the world but when we look at the story of a common Pakistani working-class person so we see that he gets very low quality of these things with a very high amount of price and when we look into the story of a common Pakistani farmer so we see that he is not paid enough for his crops so that he has to live a very poor life so what is the problem and what can be a possible solution to it. Basically, the problem is the middle man so called mafias which earns money from both ends i.e., from the farmer as well as from the end consumer as they purchase crops for very less amount of money from the farmers and sells into to the shops for a very high amount of prices making them a handsome profit my making the lives of both a common working-class person and the farmer miserable. So, the possible solution for this is to introduce technology into this system so that the things that a middle man (the mafia) performs can be performed using technology and thus making everything transparent for both the consumer and the farmer i.e., the consumer(town shop keeper) can see what is the actual cost for the crop and what he is paying for it and as this system is fully transparent the cut of the middle man (the mafia) is completely eliminated and the farmer can get the maximum cost for his crop making life a little easy for both of them and thus making this the basic abstract idea for our project.

People are becoming fitness and health conscious in a rapidly changing world. The recent Corona pandemic was a challenge for people to maintain their fitness since they could not go out to fitness centers, trainers, nutritionists, and doctors. People also developed a lot of health issues due to a lack of suitable nutrition diet and physical exercises routine. The corona pandemic situation may be controlled now, but the strong impact it left has damaged the routines and schedules of a lot of people, making a balanced diet and exercise difficult for them. Experiencing all this around us, we have decided to make a Fitness Application to contribute to society and efficiently help people around the globe by providing them with factual nutrition and exercise schedules. Our application will consist of a user-friendly web-based interface for a smooth experience. The users will register their accounts and get logged in. They will encounter some input fields for the questionnaire, primarily responsible for collecting relevant information from the users. The datasets for nutrition and exercises with required features are collected and used with suitable machine learning algorithms for better results. A trained and tested model will take input parameters, and the goal could be weight gain, weight loss, or improving health issues. This model based on these parameters and the user’s goal will provide suitable diet/nutrition and exercise schedules. Moreover, it will keep a record of users' progress and appreciate them if they are following their schedules appropriately, motivate them if they are lacking a bit somewhere, and also alarms them with any expected health issues if they do not follow the recommended schedule

Kinect Virtual Paint

The idea of this project presents the virtual two-sided interaction between human machine through the Microsoft Kinect sensor, which allows the user to control and virtual paint by gestures without the need of using secondary components. Kinect Virtual Paint draws patterns on the screen by user’s gestures using Microsoft Kinect. Microsoft Kinect detects the body of user and once detected the user can draw patterns according to their will. Virtual Paint is an interactive tool in which Kinect Sensor is used to interact with paint editor to draw on a 2D screen. The user’s takes control of the drawing screen and is used to draw shapes and patterns. The user is seen gesturing various patters in the air by Kinect, which captures the movements and translates them to the computer commands, allowing drawing a sketch pattern guided by hand and arming movements and gestures. This paint allows user to paint on a canvas using various tools. User can select different brush sizes and colours. Using these gestures user can save drawings and load previous saved drawing. Virtual Paint provided other tools to draw different regular shapes like triangle, circle, rectangle and square. Right hand of the skeleton is used to control the cursor movement. Hover over a button for a while consider it a click. Kinect Virtual Paint is developed to make children and teenagers happily learn painting to improve the learning performance and at the same time to facilitate trainer. The user can easily change the colour of the drawing, clear the board, and edit the threshold for picking up where to draw based on the size of the room. The constraint on this system is that this is a single user based that means at a time only one user can use it, and any object can be used as a pen or pencil. This can save resources paint etc. and will attract children and audience. You can also use this concept to teach children how to write and draw different shapes; can be used for drawing for children as well. Helpful and novel interface for teachers, students and artists. Any user regardless of age can use as it is very user friendly.
Maestro (A Home Service App)

Has there been a time for you that your refrigerator needed to be repaired, or you needed a gardener for your lawn, but couldn’t find anyone? Most of the time people have to go out and look for a shop that will do all kinds of these works, which can become quite problematic. If someone has just moved to a new place, he/ she may have no idea as to where these shops are, or even if a customer calls someone, chances are they will be busy someplace else, and the customer could have to wait for a long time to get their work done. Our project is to develop a mobile application that will provide home services to the user like plumbing, appliance repairs (Air conditioners, Refrigerators), wall painting, dry cleaning (curtains, carpets, blankets), and many more. Our app will provide all these services to users with just a few clicks and in the comfort of their homes. After just a few clicks and selecting their problem, customers can choose from a whole bunch of workers based on their price, reviews, and ratings. This app will have two categories of the user base, customers, and workers, and it will benefit both. This app will also create work opportunities for many people, thus reducing unemployment and poverty. Many people who have different skills (like electricians, cleaners, painters, and carpenters) but do not have the medium to utilize these skills and earn money, will now be able to use this app and generate revenue for themselves and their families.
