Item EFFECT OF WORKING CAPITAL ON PROFITABILITY MANAGEMENT; A CASE OF FERTILIZER SECTOR OF PAKISTAN(Library Information Services, COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus, 2020) GHUFRAN KAZMI; SP17-BAF-008; Dr. SYED ATIF ALI; LHR TP 6600This research paper main objective is to determine and evaluate the relationship of the fertilizer producing companies’ profitability and the working capital elements. Data was extracted from financial statement of the fertilizer manufacturing companies from the year 2014 to 2019 and Pakistan Stock Exchange website .ROA (Return on assets) and ROE (Return on equity) were used as the proxies for profitability and ACP (Average collection period), APP (Average payment period) and CCC (Cash conversion) were chosen as the proxies of working capital. The study finds that there exist a relationship among working capital and firm performance but analysis also shows that relationship exist but relationship is not strong among chosen working capital elements (CCC, APP, ACP) and profitability. So there are other variables that directly affect profitability of the firms in Pakistani fertilizer producing sector also fertilizer manufacturing firms in Pakistan are not efficiently utilizing different components of working capital to enhance the profitability of their companies.Item MICRO FINANCE IMPACT ON POVERTY ALLEVIATION WITH MODERATING ROLE OF FINANCIAL INCLUSION(Library Information Services, COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus., 2020-11-01) WAJHI HAIDER; CIIT/SP17-BAF-010/LHR; Dr. SYED ATIF ALI; LHR TP 6618Microfinance is providing micro loans to poor people so they can increase their income level and living standards which ultimately reduces poverty. This research focus on microfinance impact on poverty alleviation in Pakistan in which the role of different Non-government and government microfinance organizations in reaching poor and reducing poverty. In which it is being discussed that what programs NGOs are providing and what are the programs and initiatives are government supported to reduce the poverty. The major objective of this research is to show the performance and programs of different microfinance organizations and how they are working? This research is based on secondary analysis of qualitative data in which secondary data is used from which performance of organizations are being evaluated by their statistical and financial data. Later on overall microfinance industry analysis is done in which it is found out that overall microfinance sector is doing good but it can be better if economic and political conditions are stable.Item PROJECT REPORT MOBILE BANKING, TOOL OF FINANCIAL INCLUSION; A CASE OF PAKISTAN(Library Information Services, COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus., 2020-11-20) ROMAAN ALI; CIIT/SP17-BAF-009/LHR; Dr. SYED ATIF ALI; LHR TP 6578The aim of this research project is to identify factors that affect intentions to adopt mobile banking in Pakistan empirically. Descriptive statistics and regression analysis are used to track the effect of perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, awareness, social norms, security and privacy as well as self-efficacy on individuals’ intention to adopt mobile banking. The results of this research project show that intentions to adopt mobile banking is positively affected by perceived utility and perceived ease of use.
