    Electron transport properties of stacked 2 dimensional materials

    Graphene; a material with a high carrier mobility, having zero band gap drawback. Whereas, Boron Nitride with an insulating behavior, having a wide band gap opening. To control the band gap of grapheme without affecting the carrier mobility, Graphene/ Boron Nitride (grapheme/BN) hetero bilayers (HBLs) are formed. In these HBLs the layer of graphene is already doped with BN as well. First Principles calculations show that the band gap and electron effective mass can be modulated according to the need by just changing their stacking arrangement and the inter layer spacing between BN and hybrid layer of graphene. The results show that the tunability of graphene band gap have a linear dispersion relation with handsome band gap opening for a specific stable stacking pattern and this is a promising feature for futuristic Nano devices.

    Order Delays Caused by Late Yarn Deliveries: A Supply Chain & Inventory Management Study at Kohinoor Mills Ltd

    The title of the case study is Order Delays due to Late Yarn Deliveries: A Supply Chain and Inventory Management Study at Kohinoor Mills Ltd. and is a thorough research into the long-running issue of order delays caused by the late delivery of a raw material (yarn), that continuously affects production and puts the company at the risk of losing customer confidence. The particular research study was to determine the complex internal and external factors that are leading to all these delays, determine the efficacy of existing planning and inventory management techniques and determine the drastic strategic effects of long-term operational failures. The proposed research used a qualitative and single-case study design, as it was selected to elicit the human, procedural, and systemic variables and elements that cannot be produced through quantitative data alone. The primary data was also collected in the form of semi-structured interviews with the ten most important managers and officers who work in the Production Planning (PPC), Yarn Procurement, Yarn Godown, Sales and Quality Control (QC). The insights were gathered and then subjected to Thematic Analysis that was able to identify 20 distinct themes (root causes of operational delays) and developed a detailed diagnostic framework that is specific to this environment.

    Pink Ribbon

    Pink ribbon was established in 2004 and after that they have carried out many project including national screening program. Their latest project is to build Pakistan’s first dedicated breast cancer hospital. There are 40000 reported deaths caused by breast cancer in Pakistan. Pakistan has the highest ratio among all south Asian countries. Every 1 in 9 women is at the risk of breast cancer. A decade ago a common conception was that breast cancer is mostly related to women over 40 but recent studies have concluded that breast cancer is not age restricted. Girls as young as 14 years have been targeted. Causes of the cancer are still unknown to the researchers however a guideline is provided to prevent it in first place. It is the only type of cancer that can be detected in early stages and has a survival ratio of more than 90%. I carried out my duties in form of different tasks. My internship was a mixture of office and field work. I spent few weeks in office and few in carrying out tasks that were to be carried out outside the organizations. I have also defined the strategies that have been successful and I also have carried out a SWOT analysis. As described earlier Pink ribbon is now trying to build a hospital that would cost around 500 million rupees. Land has been bought in Gulberg but still a lot of help is needed to accomplish the enthusiastic project.

    The report contains all the information about my six-week internship during the summer break in the weaving division of Vital Group. I wanted to learn about workplace culture and business strategies for its advancement and strategies for client satisfaction. I applied my marketing theory and prepared myself to work in a working atmosphere with all my concentration. The report detailed my work experience in the marketing and sales department of Vital Group. The history of the host organization and its purpose and vision is the first topic I cover in the report. Organization background considers the organization's brief history, business model, product and service offerings, and legal status. The vision covers the organization's strategic aims and objectives, the company's methods for achieving those goals, and how to build an interdependent, integrated organization, much like the mission statement does. I well comprehended the Vital Group's history. The company's business operations, comprising the duties and activities a corporation performs to generate goods and services, were then briefly discussed. My aim was to learn the techniques for sales. I want to learn fresh strategies for bringing in clients and expanding my business. For the success of our organization, I wish to gain a variety of new skills during this internship, including how to interact with customers and how to apply cutting-edge strategies like social media marketing. And I picked up a lot of useful skills there. The report summarizes my experiences, company problems, my understanding of the organization, and strategies the company should use to rule the market. How much my learning has improved and how much my perspective on my profession has changed because of the knowledge I've gained at work. In order to demonstrate how much I learned from this internship; I am outlining all the activities along with a timetable in this report.

    Weighted Mean Product of Fuzzy Graph Structures

    In this thesis we presented a numbers of various concepts relating to fuzzygraphic structures, such as the weighted mean product of two fuzzy-graphic structures and regular fuzzy-graphic structures, and examined several relating attributes. The degree and total degree of vertex in weighted mean product of fuzzy-graphic structures were also described with the help of examples. Furthermore, we have suggested execution of fuzzy-graphic frameworks to compare the five major cities of Pakistan on the basis of four criteria, such as Hospitals, Education, Industry and Roads
