Abstract

The following report contains insights and everything about my summer internship in the company Switch Enterprises. I learnt various aspects of the professional environment, which had a huge part in 3 the development of my knowledge. I put my academic knowledge to use and worked practically, which showed me more insights of how things work around a company. My analysis as a sales representative and accounting junior intern revolved around starting with basic tasks to assigning me loaded tasks at the end of my internship as my management team found me capable enough. I worked closely with the senior accountant and absorbed a lot of the work done on a daily basis. The company ran on an organised structure and schedule with a set of great managers, marketers, sales associates, and accountants. My knowledge in a dispatching company taught me how the base of every business is run with a good management team and a compatible staff. The report explains how the company ran its operations, how much it built itself with a great team, and how knowledgeable the experience was in every perspective of my development. My aim was to learn more about the financial structure, the operations and the minute tasks done in order to run the company smoothly. I learnt and explained everything in the report, summarising the key points in my learning, the conclusion, the problems, my understanding of the organisation and its structure. I wish to exceed my knowledge of learning new skills in the future regarding every field, specifically accounting and finance since it has been my major as well as a huge part of my practical professional knowledge over the years.
