dc.description.abstract I had started my internship in Pakistan’s most prestigious telecommunication company. The organizational approach towards delivering its best services. This journey starts long ago when there were scarce resources and underprivileged means to execute operation and to render services to connect Pakistan with external world and inter communication. The only services means were Telephones and Telegraphs. PTCL had trust of millions as it connected people to their beloved ones and is always recognized as brand of Loyalty and Integrity. PTCL Internship experience will always help an individual in assessing how a corporation works and the working of it in accordance with rules and regulations directed as per governing authority. PTCL is a listed company in Pakistan Stock Exchange, which leads with a passion and zeal in order to fulfill the core principles of modern finance, which is increasing shareholder wealth. This ambition and zeal of delivering its shareholders with pleasing circumstances has always given an edge to PTCL to compete with its competitors and to gain trust of the customers and investors. This implication of agency theory upon this organization creates a synergic effect of confidence and trust of shareholders upon management and directors, which leads to smooth functioning of organization and will yield long-term benefits in upcoming times. Being a student of finance the finance business operations department was a fascinating experience to remember as the professionals discussing the financing that was practical based and had a true depiction of professionalism and industrial practices going on. This helps students to gain a full fledge knowledge of industrial trends the working environment and a professional attitude towards solving problems and suggesting their alternatives and solutions. Being an intern, I had observed how are manager Mr. Atif Aqeel used to manage multiple challenging task with great precision, experience-based intuition and upon professionalism. He there was dealing with multiple fronts from supervising the formation of invoicing being issued to corporate customers, keeping a check on budgeting its calculations the careful and precise approval of prior cheque. Moreover, these financial instruments when traded require some keen crosschecking in order to ensure transparency and to give error free reports. These all tasks are a challenging one. Furthermore, the complaints of customer corporate and their grievances were also addressed and were given instant solutions and were subject to completion. The invoicing was an ongoing challenging and volatile tasks, which require constant changes and alterations depending upon the needs and demand of customers as per the agreements approved by the marketing department. The challenging task was also the compliance following of Islamabad headquarters in regards to taxation. The compliance of this authority is necessary due to which our manager was always part of those meetings in order to ensure smooth flow of tasks. en_US
