CRESCENT BAHUMAN LIMITED

Abstract

Being student of Management Sciences (BBA) COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus, I selected Crescent Bahuman limited for my internship because the one reason for selecting this is that my home city is also located here and the other reason is that it is recognized as a leading textile sector in Pakistan. Crescent Bahuman Ltd is very famous in exporting the jeans, Garments of different brands like Levi’s, Express, Mustang, Diesel, and many others. It has a very strong position in foreign market. There is two units in Crescent Bahuman, the one is Textile unit and the other is Denim unit. In textile there is a spinning and weaving department .On the Apparel side there is cutting, sewing, stitching, washing and finishing, etc. The overall process is that their business operations starts from cotton and then they manufacture yarn and afterwards this yarn goes to weaving department where fabric is made out of it. This fabric goes to the Apparel unit for garments. This fabric also used for exporting purposes.
