Abstract:
This study examined the relationship between ethical leadership, the creation of an
ethical working climate, and the mediating role of knowledge sharing in educational
institutes in Lahore. The research aimed to explore the impact of ethical leadership on
employees and the creation of an ethical working climate, as well as the role of
knowledge sharing in this relationship. The study was quantitative and cross-sectional
in nature, and it used correlation and regression analysis to investigate the hypothesis.
A sample of 204 employees (including managers, supervisors, and other staff members)
was drawn from different Educational Institutes in Lahore, Pakistan. The results of the
study indicate that Ethical Leadership has a positive significant effect on the Ethical
Working Climate. Findings further explain that the Knowledge Sharing acts as a
mediator and partially mediates the relationship between Ethical Leadership and Ethical
Working Climate
Data was collected using various methods, and the findings supported the hypotheses,
revealing a significant association between ethical leadership, the creation of an ethical
working climate, and knowledge sharing. The study contributes to the understanding of
ethical leadership and knowledge sharing in fostering an ethical working climate within
Lahore's educational institutes. The implications of the study are discussed, along with
limitations and recommendations for future research.
