Abstract:
The focus of this study was to examine the impact of Knowledge oriented leadership
on innovation performance with the mediating role of knowledge sharing and the
moderating role of Creative Self-Efficacy. The context was IT based software houses
in Pakistan. Questionnaires were used to collect data from 347 employees working in
software houses in Pakistan. Results indicate Knowledge oriented leadership is
positively linked with innovation performance while knowledge sharing mediates the
relationship between Knowledge oriented leadership and innovation performance. In
addition, the results show that the moderating role of Creative Self-Efficacy between
Knowledge Sharing and Innovation performance is not supported.
