Abstract:
Print media plays a major role in every country. Despite of the various mediums of print media, like magazines, books etc. Newspaper is very much important as it becomes the part of readers’ day to day activities and it educates them in many ways. It informs them with credibility and trust. In today’s technological world. Most people still believes in newspapers rather than electronic mediums. In the last 3 years newspaper industry has faced a big downturn due to economical crash and it has majorly affected the daily sales which also resulted in low employment ratio. This study shows the periodical downfall of the paper industry along with its history and how it made some strategically moves to overcome the slump of this industry. The main focus is on Dawn Media Group. In this study, SWOT analysis is also done to give a view of actual happenings in the market. If we see the literature side, than there is a big scope for researchers and the university students to study the real times problems and finding better solutions to create valued Co-Creation.
The study shows the problems faced by readers such as late receiving of newspapers. And it also suggests methods through which these problems can be solved and the industry can get back to the growth level. The major earnings of this industry is from readers, so solving their issues should be the primary thing to do. Dawn Media is the market leader in this industry, so the group should lead the way in creating such ways through which every chain member does its work perfectly and maximum output can be gained from them. Only than the losses can be regained and the industry can grow.
The major focus of this report is to highlight the fact that Co-Creation is very much important for every industry/sector.
