Crud Handling Inventory by Audit and Complaint for CS Lab

Abstract

Lab Inventory System can be described as accuracy, reliability and Timeliness of reporting. Lab Inventory system allow all the process to be done efficiently. Retrieval of information is made easy by adding a feature in the system through which a user scan the barcode and get all the information about a specific hardware of lab. The barcode can be scanned by a mobile app(android,ios app) and can also be accessed by a barcode reader . There are a lot of forms to be completed as the inventory process happened. And all these are are completed manually which is not reliable and efficient way to maintain an inventory .The purpose of the project entitled as “Lab Inventory Management System” is to develop a software which is user friendly, simple, fast and cost-efficient. It deals with the Auditing of hardware components of labs (includes data fetching using barcode scanner, History), Complaints, Maintenance request, requesting new equipment & up-gradation and request for required software in labs.It will also generate a report which will be sent to relevant authority. The reports will be sent to DCO, HOD, Director on weekly and monthly basis.
