Online Educational Counsellor

Abstract

The aim of the project is to develop a platform that aids students in selecting their field of education and finding educational institutes related to it. The project aims to develop a website that acts like a counsellor to students and help them to choose their path. This online system will provide students a platform where they can solve questionnaires to determine their area of interest and the results will be generated based on the answers provided by them. Students can find colleges and university programs on the website and can see eligibility criteria, due date and required documents of the selected institute. The searching of institute has been made easy for the users by providing different parameters. This platform is also for institute representatives who can add their institutes on our website so their institutes can be searched easily. The system will be user-friendly as the project’s focus is to make the use of website easier for students by providing interactive GUI. The thought behind our project is to help students in making their life decisions and to act as a guide.
