Online FIR System

Abstract

The purpose of our web based project is to create an Online FIR System in which a citizen will be able to register his complaint in electronic way without losing the comfort of home. With the blessings of Computer Sciences and Information Technology field our project will facilitate the user with functionality of map so that user can better judge that where he will send his complaint. In addition to this our system will enable the user to forward the complaint to higher authorities (SDPO) in case when the complaint is not processed for the specific period of time by a particular police station. Our system is facilitating the citizen and as well the Government level Police officers by maintaining the complaints in a digital manner and to get rid of the manual complaint system. Online FIR System will minimize the bribery up to extent level and avoid red taping which is heavily involved in the process of registering FIR manually, which certainly bogs down the confidence of general public.
