Abstract

The account books are considered to be the heart of a business and in present day era, the business man and the business owner of Pakistan is still operating on the methods of past to run their businesses. Accounting solutions like books, registers and account ledgers are still in practice given the present-day advancements in technology. Only large-scale businesses have partially adapted with the concept of mobility and technology along with sticking with physical means of data handling such as paper receipts, bills and lists. In this final year project, we have developed a system on android environment that will handle all the needs of a small and basic business as well as large businesses. We have studied the market trend of people working in the business hub of Pakistan i.e., Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore and Peshawar. The application developed will be a hybrid of needs and requirements of all the people in field and will surely replace the volatile and unsecure modes of handling accounts and many other things of a business. The application consists of a very friendly and easy to understand user interface which allows a person to create new contact, that contact can either be a customer or a supplier and from this a user can create its activity that can be creating bills, generating receiving, taking payments on behalf of a bill, viewing history and reports of products and customer/suppliers on monthly/weekly basis.
