At present, online shopping has become a common trend as it has created an ease for the people to sit back, relax and enjoy the benefits of online shopping. So, people tend to seek such a system that would provide them the maximum benefits. Keeping in mind the convenience of customers as well as sellers, we have developed GroceryMart.pk which is a platform that is aimed at centralizing various grocery stores in one place. Sellers can register their grocery stores using our web portal and can sell their products through our provided platform. Customers can purchase the grocery products at any time and place either through our web portal or via the mobile application. Our system notifies the sellers about the customers’ orders so that they can be processed and delivered at their doorstep. The system works by detecting the customers’ location to suggest nearby grocery stores with the best products. Along with it, the sellers can take advantage of enhanced sales as they will be able to attract the maximum number of customers. Moreover, our system also facilitates the sellers to manage their stocks and inventories efficiently and they are also able to analyse the reports about sales, stocks, and orders on a daily, weekly, monthly and yearly basis. Sellers can provide promotions and discounts on the selected products to facilitate the customers. On the other hand, customers can add comments, read reviews, give feedback and rate the products that also enable other customers to make a better decision. This also enables the grocery store sellers to make their work more efficacious by making improvements. Our system facilitates the customers by providing them a chat module so that they can communicate with the sellers in case of any problem. Users can add various products to their cart and visit all the store items as a guest but to place an order they can simply log in and checkout. Last but not least, our system provides an exciting feature for customers by sending the recommendations on the basis of personalized interests, most viewed products, and most purchased products, etc. Our recommender system also helps the seller by telling them about their inventory and suggesting to them when to update their inventory.
